"It's ok", I wasn't aware that a 2.5 mm plug was a charger size not a normal headphone plug size. I was hoping to use headphones I already have to listen to music from the phones mp3 player. They're apparently not 2.5mm. Now I have to either buy the headphones that work with this phone, (which suck!) which would eliminate the need for this adapter, or buy another pair of headphones with the correct jack size to use with the adapter. That should have been made more clear.

"Ghost Calling...RazrV3xx....DON'T BUY", I bought this product thinking that I could just plug-in one of my old hands-free devices from one of my retired phones so that I could ditch my bluetooth, which is now required in CA on the road.

The connection worked well...until...when I left the phone unattended, with the headset connected, the phone would mysteriously jump to my 'Last Calls' and if still unattended, it would CALL my last dialed number. I don't know what/why/how this happens, but this happened to me many times. I couldn't just leave the headset attached to the phone because it would dial people without me knowing; luckily, it was mostly my wife, so she just heard my horrible singing.

At the same time I bought this product, I also bought a Motorola OneTouch HS700 - Headset and have never experienced the same issue. I have a RazrV3xx, so don't know if the issue is specific to this phone, or others, too, but I won't be using it again.

"Its a monophone output, not a sterio. ", I wanted to use this with my car sterio, but it doesn't work. Only one side of the car speakers work. Thats when I figured they were not sterio connection. I had purchased two 3.5mm to 2.5mm connectors to connect it to my car sterio which now just lie around at home.

"It works.", If you are one of those 2.5mm owners, then get this, it works. It's warm with love and does what is expected of it, like a real partner should be.

I bought this to be able to listen to MP3's on my Moto RAZR V3t. This thing works fine, but the way it made conerns me a bit.
Overall, it is worth getting, just be gentle with it, and it will last.

"Not-shielded? Awful audio quality", I ordered one of these direct from Motorola (same SYN1505A model number). I *am* using a cellular headset - a Plantronics MX505 (one poster guessed that it was only a problem with headsets intended for cordlesss phones) and the audio quality was still awful on it.

I could hear the other person fine (although a bit quiet), but the other person heard audio crackling and buzzing and static. Removing the adapter and talking through the phone itself went back to being fine. Just awful. I returned it immediately. Shame on Motorola - usually pretty decent for quality - for not shielding this, or whatever they did to make it dreadful.


"Do not buy", I bought it for use with my RAZR. It definitely has a loud buzz in it, so you get what you pay for (1 cent?).

"needed this for RAZR", Anyone who's bought a RAZR recently knows you can't find wired headphones for them. The Motorola S200s are awful, cheaply made and don't work. This adapter and the similar 3.5 version are the only way to listen to the music on your RAZR, short of a pricier Bluetooth set. I use an LG headset with this one that lets me answer calls, but there are a few 2.5 sets out there. These adapters work great, giving RAZR owners a viable alternative.

"nice thing", is useful but i didn't realize it is 2.5, i thoug was the same that my earphones, i just boght an adapter and it works perfectly, the prize rules...
