"Phantom's "Blackbeard's Revenge"", Reel Deal Slots Blackbeard's Revenge
As with the previous Phantom Reel Deal games we purchased, the graphics and the new slot machines are great; however this is the last Phantom software we will buy! The software seems to have some sort of "planned obselence" built in. The games we loaded previously cannot now be played off-line on our computer and the new game, "Blackbeard's Revenge", would not load properly. This problem is not unique to us; one of our friends has had the same problems and frequent calls to Phantom did nothing to resolve the problems. We did finally get it to load on our laptop which had no Phantom software installed.

"Well worth the money!", I've not had any problems with this game. I did, however, make sure I had the required video card and memory before purchasing. This game is a slot lover's dream! Gorgeous graphics, innovative bonus rounds, and clever themes make for hours of fun.

The overall theme is pirates.."AAAaRRRgh", and several games tap into that. From swashbuckling adventures, to dark and scary pirates, to hilarious pirate parodies.

Raja's Rupees has a lush feel of India...gorgeous graphics, and Tunzamunny is a funky blend of Egyptian and Sci-fi that has to be seen to be believed. My favorite is Kash Kong, a take on King Kong, with cool art deco graphics and a great bonus round. There really is something for everyone here, and none that I don't like.

Don't get the wrong idea about this game from the negative reviews. Just make sure your computer meets the requirements before purchasing. Blackbeard's Revenge is one of the best entertainment buys I've ever made for $20.





"Aggravating", There is nothing more aggravating that paying full price for a CD then find out that the legitimate purchaser has to put a CD in the drive everytime you want to play. I find this a real pain in the you know what. For Pete's sake, what do they think they are saving? Every copy of Windows comes with disk duplication software with a Help button that tells you how to use it. It is so easy and cheap to simply buy a blank and make a copy of the CD if someone wanted to. This thing is going back, I'm not going to put up with this.


"UNABLE TO PLAY ", THIS GAME LOOKED LIKE A GOOD ONE, EXCEPT YOU NEED TO HAVE A NEWER COMPUTER WITH AT LEAST TWO GIG OF MEMORY.I WAS UNABLE TO BOOT PROGRAM ON COMPUTER RECIEVED APPLICATION ERROR. SO BEWARE IF YOU BUY THIS PROGRAM YOU MIGHT HAVE THE SAME PROBLEMS.

"Blackbeard's Revenge Phantom EFX", We have all the Phantom EFX slots machine games. They are the best. We love having bonus rounds and all these machines have them. To bad they only come out with games once a year.

"what a joke", This game would not install. The Geek Squad at Best Buy couldn't get it to install either..... What a joke. Don't even bother with it.

"Released this game with too many problems", I ordered this game because my parents like Reel Deal Slots and bought it for my dad's birthday and till this day I'm still waiting from Phantom to help me fix this game so it runs on their computer. They released this game with too many problems. DO NOT BUY THIS...

"Three installs but works fine for me.", I had trouble when I first installed this game. It froze up. I decided to uninstall it and install it again. Still froze up on me. I uninstalled it a third time and installed it again and it worked. I just started playing with it and do enjoy it.

"Download Nightmare", I have bought all of the Reel Deal games that are out and have loved them all. But Blackbeard's Revenge is a download nightmare. It is obvious that they should have never published it until they had all of the problems worked out. I had to hire a programmer who spent hours (and my $$$) getting downloads from the internet to make it work. Also, I don't think it says on the cover of the box that you need a Pentium 4 to make it work (but I do have a Pentium 4 so that wasn't my problem). After I got it working, most of the games are not right. The reels are all run together and look like a mosaic. I have sent an e-mail to Phantom E FX to try to get some assistance. I would not recommend this product until they get it fixed right. You will just be frustrated like I am.
