"Pretty funny, keeps us amused"
My boyfriend and I are enjoying playing this. I can imagine, giggling thorugh the winter playing battleship and sorry sliders! pretty retro!

"Great game for the family!"
This is a great game to have for the family!

My son and I love to play board games, but can seldom get the other two people in our family to play. Then there's the issue of missing pieces, or needing to stop playing for a while for whatever reason. Having the game on the Wii neatly takes care of all those issues. The added attraction of showing it all on a 60 inch TV doesn't hurt either.

The prizes and trophies are a really nice touch too. Although we would like to be able to see the prizes better, it's still neat to be able to look around our "room" and see everything.

Probably the best thing about it is that in addition to the standard version of the game, there's an advanced version offered AND a customizable version. This enticed our other two family members out and we very quickly ramped up Sorry Sliders (a game we'd never played before) to the hardest settings we could come up with with and had a wonderful time complaining about our bad luck on our turns!

I don't care much for playing it all by myself. But I can see my son doing so in order to get all the prizes and trophies available. We do have a reall great time playing it together. It's so rare that we get to play a game with more than just the two of us, that the computer players are a real treat.

I'm hoping they come out with more classic games ported over to Wii in the future.

"Family frustration night"
We asked for and received this game for Christmas, thinking it would be fun for our family. Not. So. Much.

It's almost like the game designers thought more about how to use cool graphics, motions and music, but forgot about the simple fun of the games. For example....Battleship takes twice as long to play as it does the old-fashioned way with pegs. Because there are animations for hits and misses, the game is annoyingly too long. Boggle is confusing as the whole board is not displayed; rather, it gives you a letter to start with and as you move your pointer over it a letter will appear one at a time. Sorry should be played with dice, not cards. End of story. Connect four is really the only one that is true to the spirit of the original game - I guess there's not a whole lot that could be changed with that one! Having never played the board version of Sorry Sliders, I can't compare it to the Wii version. I can tell you that I don't care for it because like the Wii version of Sorry, it's confusing. And the classic game Yahtzee? You're much better off with the real dice and paper game because just when you think you've had a good roll it's often a challenge just to score it properly!

Mr. Potato Head as the host is kind of annoying, but he is more easily ignored than the sirens in the background of Family Game Night. Sirens? Really? I'd like to know who thought that was a good idea!

In short, if you're thinking of buying this game for your family's game night, DON'T! Instead, take your $40 and buy the real games. Not only are they less frustrating, but they are way more fun - without the tacky host and bad background sounds.

"Not as much fun as I thought it would be"
It is too hard to understand how to play Sorry. It is not like the board game at all. There are no instructions on how to play exactly so it took a long time to figure it out and it just is not as fun as I thought it would be. It is not worth the money.

"Good Game"
Good game for the right price. Well worth it, I highly reccommend it good for older kids and adults.

What our customer's say!

"Wii Mom", The games are the same ones we all played as youngsters, but the on-screen instructions and prompts are in such small font that it is nearly impossible to read them without being on top of the TV. Also, this game does not take advantage of the Wii format in design. You have to push alot of buttons to play the games.

"Fun game for the family", I was very excited to receive this as a Christmas present. My favorite games are Battleship and Connect 4. They were very similar to the original games I use to play as a kid. I was not too happy with Sorry. That was my favorite game as a kid, so I had very high hopes for it. Playing Sorry with this game was confusing and hard to understand at first. I give this game 4 out of 5 stars because although I was disappointed with Sorry, I had a lot of fun playing the rest of the games.

"LEAVE THE Battleship with THIS GAME", ALTHOUGH, IT'S LIKE PLAYING THE ORIGINAL BOARD CAMES, THE USER INTERFACE "bites" BIG TIME. WHEN WE'RE PLAYING BOOGLE, AND TRY HIGHLIGHTING THE WORD, MY WII REMOTE TOTALLY JUMPS ALL AROUND. I WANTED TO THROW MY REMOTE AT HASBORO. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS GAME.

LEAVE THE BATTLESHIP & PLAY ANOTHER WII GAME.

"Family Game NIght is so Worth it!", I can't say I love all the games, but the Sorry Sliders is the best, it has three versions you can play and its a piece of cake to figure out---the reviewers who say they can't figure out the game are really lame, this game is lots of fun, my 6 year old grandson plays with us and its great. My daughter loves the Boggle game and we like Yahtzee and Battleship too---Great investment, no game parts to lose, love it!

"Family Game Night Review", This game is a blast. If you played board games when you were a kid, you will love the video game version. It can become addictive, however, and you may find yourself looking at the clock 2 hours later wondering where the time went! It is a great way to spend an evening with the family. I would highly recommend this game.

"Great Family Fun!", My niece and nephew, who are [...], enjoy playing Connect 4, and my mother-in-law enjoys the Yatzee game. As for Sorry and Sliders it takes a while to get through the games but they are still fun to play. My favorite game of all is the Battleship, the graphics and creativity on this game makes it a lot of fun! Overall I think if you are looking for great family fun then this will be a huge hit.

"Not Perfect But Definately A Favorite!", Hasbro's family game night is a fun twist on well loved board games and you don't have any pieces to lose!

Our favorite games were definately Battleship and Boggle and with an age range between 9 - 53 years in our household it was enjoyed by everyone. My husband and youngest daughter loved battleship and found the variations to the regular game a lot more fun.

The controls are easy to use for children and not complicated in any way. Boggle can get a little confusing when you have 4 people all trying to highlight letters but I think that added to the fun of it all.

Connect Four was a little boring, but it's not really a game I like to play much off the wii.

We couldn't figure out Sorry, but we were having so much fun with Boggle and Battleship we didn't really care and I'm sure if we bothered to read the booklet that came with the game we'd figure it out quickly enough.

Overall I'd give the game a 9 out of 10 simply for Battleship and Boggle.

"Excellent Translation of Hasbro Standards!", It's an expected hazard of having children and wanting to play classic games. We have several game boxes in our closet that are unplayable because of missing pieces, not to mention the precious closet space they inhabit. That's never a problem with "Hasbro Family Game Night". You'll never lose the game pieces and the Wii interface is extremely simple for all members of the family.

Nothing fancy here, just the standards like Boggle, Battleship, Yahtze, Connect Four, and Sorry! It's a good mix of games with a variety of skill sets for the entire family.

The games play like the standard non-electronic games, but also incorporate a number of interesting variations of the standard games.

We also enjoy having Mr Potato Head serving as the Master-of-Ceremonies, though we wish he spoke more. He does not say much, but DOES celebrate or shake his head sadly depending on your performance.

The graphics are not remarkable, but are crisp, clean, and well-rendered. The user-interface is well-designed, with a few flaws here and there where you may trip over your fingers. This game does NOT represent an innovative use of the Wii controller, though it IS a nice touch to shake the Wii-mote to shake the dice cup. Overall, no major complaints and we are enjoying the game. Probably should be listed at a lower price than $36, but cheaper than buying each of the individual games. This game makes a good edition to your Wii library as a game that doesn't take videogame playing skill. If you can play, the physical versions of these games, you will have no problem with the electronic edition.

As with the original versions, these are more fun when played in a group, but they also work well in one-player mode. Highly Recommended!

"Fun!", We got this game about a week ago and we love it! Yahtzee is my favorite. The kids play Sorry! Sliders for hours. Its worth buying.

"nice wii port of classic game", My kids are 4 and 6, and I find little game pieces in every crevice of our home. We love games.

The kids have played some of the games in HFGN: Sorry, Sorry Sliders, and Connect 4. The port of Sorry is a little easier to play than the original (they deal out 5 cards, and you can choose to play one of them), and that works better than the original for my kids. However, we play on a 25" TV, and the blocks are a little small on our screen. Sorry Sliders is probably the most fun: it really works on the Wii nicely. The other games are good, but the controls are a little clunky. It would have been nice if they included a round-robin tournament for 2-player games like Battleship and Connect 4, not unlike the way they do Table Tennis in Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games.

The game also awards trophies and prizes to each player, a lot like Mario Party 8. The kids really like that.

Overall, we like it. It has room for improvement, but it's fun for us
