"iPod touch review", The iPod touch was a Christmas gift for our daughter. She originally had the iPod Nano that was stolen. She loves the iPod touch, because of all the capabilities.


"This product is excellent", I have owned a 4gb Ipod Nano since last year, but found that watching video on it was not ideal. I wanted to get an Iphone, but am locked into Verizon. So, I decided to get an Ipod Touch. Got the 16gb 1st Gen model, because it was on sale. I am definitely not disappointed. Watching video on it is great and video is easy to convert to the Ipod with all the 3rd party applications available for Ipods. I got the upgraded firmware and love App store. There is something out there for everyone on App store. The interface on the Ipod is very intuitive. The touch screen is very responsive and you can use to zoom and scroll pictures. The Safari browser on the Touch is the best mobile browser I have ever used. It is easy to input URLs and to scroll and zoom webpages. Bottom line is if you just listen to music you can get a Nano or some regular Ipods cheaper. But if you watch alot of video or would like to use the Ipod to browse the internet or play games, the Ipod Touch is the one to get.

"Excellent Item", Loved the IPOD touch. Purchased two of them as a gift for my kids. They loved it so much I purchased myself one too. Excellent buy at $199 the day after Thanksgiving!!!

"Great product", I got this as a X'mas present and really didn't think much of this since I already had a 40 gig Ipod. I've learned that I really didn't need 40 gigs and that 16 gigs would be a fine fit. If you download a movie they usually aren't much larger than 1/2 a gig in space and some of the free applications will play music via your wifi home network. Some of the applications, game and utilities, are unbelievable and in many cases can be downloaded for free! It's also great to have glass as the touch screen, sure it shows finger prints, but at least it doesn't scratch! Believe it or not, I do miss not having the speaker (offered in the 2nd gen) even though it has no fidelity. All in all, not bad for $195.

"Delighted with Amazon", The product was everthing expected. It was a gift for christmas for teenager. More importantly, I was amazed at Amazon. I ordered it Saturday morning and recieved it Monday!!!!!!! Will definately by more on line with Amazon!!

"I was surprised to find.........", I did not know that the iPOD Touch could navigate the Internet until I received it, started to download music to it, but it asked me to pick a WiFi from a list. I selected my usual router and the next thing I see is that I was on the Internet. It was fast and easy to navigate.
This was a gift for my daughter and now she is not bugging my wife and I to get on the house computers. She absolutely loves it as well.
Plus, GREAT PRICE! $95 less than WalMart or Target!

"Great--If you do not own a PC", I bought a iTouch six months ago. It is like having a perfect wife (or husband) except real communication is impossible.

All of the applications, sleek case and artful screens are marvelous.

BUT, I own a PC and getting dependable communication with it is very difficult. Manually checking is a pain taking me back 20 years.

And asking for assistance, by phone, e-mail or the e-site is fruitless.

So this is not a phone and not a PDA that is practical for anyone out of his home at any time and who owns a PC.

Good looks only go so far.
