"So Good So Far", So good so far.... I haven't used this one much yet but I have another WD hard drive that I've been using for a few years now with no complaints. The other drive is the same as this one just a smaller capacity. I bought the 320 to replace my Seagate 320 that crashed after less than a year of ownership.... POS! I've talked to several people who have had the same problem with Seagate hard drives.

"WD passport", I got this for my new Alu macbook specifically for timemachine, music, pic and videos since i didnt want to clog my macbook with those stuff. soo far this external hard drive is very reliable, very slim, and light(drop it in a friends hands and her hands dropped thinking it was heavy lol ). love the fact that its usb powered

on the other side its very shiny, finger print magnet and gets scratched very fast. i scratched mine the same day i got it just by wiping it with a cleaning cloth removing dust off it. Also, sometimes you can feel the vibration when the disk spins and its kinda irritating sometoimes and if its still connected to my laptop after i ejected it there is a loud click when the pc goes off.

But apart for then i love it, very good external hard drive.

"Western Digital My Passport Essential 320 GB USB ", I love this product works really well with my laptop. It's so small and light I could carry it around with my laptop everywhere I go. I recommend to people who travel alot and need extra storage for their files to carry with them.

"No instructions; not Apple friendly", There were no instructions provided. I bought the Passport to transfer data from my PC to my iMac. Without instructions I did not know that the Passport has to be formatted on the iMac first. Not user friendly.

"time to buy!", there have been all kinds of deals on this product lately, some as low as in the rage of $80. time to get it.

"The best harddrive", I got this harddrive after making a good research on the various available ones.

This is the perfect harddrive and comes in ready to use situation. Simply plug it in and it is ready for either backup or storing your data.

"Very Pleased", After asking friends about what storage devices they had and their experiences with them, I also reviewed numerous brands on different sites. I found the best price here so I ordered 3 (1 for me and 2 for my college-aged daughters).

So I could keep them a secret prior to Christmas I wanted to have them delivered to my office address. But I was concerned that I needed them to be delivered prior to our office closing for the holiday break. I gambled and requested just regular shipping, not the faster methods.

Even with using just regular shipping they were delivered within about 4-5 days (well ahead of the predicted arrival date). Very happy with the price and service. Haven't had enough experience with the actual product yet but so far so good.
