"I like this product!", I really like this product. The Sony documentation is not very clear but this CD really gets you going fast.

"Very poor quality", Upon receiving the training kit I attempted to play the "computer formatted" dvd in my pc and was prompted that I should run svms8.exe for best quality. Well I checked both of the disks that came with the kit and the file was no where to be found. I, like the previous reviewer, was unable to find the project files necessary to do anything more than watch someone else use the software. Very disappointed, sent it back to Amazon the second day after receiving it. I would look elsewhere.

"Sony Vegas Essential Training", Training was pretty good but didn't really get into anything advanced. I would recommend this training for newbies who have never used Sony Vegas but not for anyone who already knows his way around. Also, the lab files were completely missing from the disc so I couldn't actually do anything but watch the DVD. Overall good for newbies but not advanced enough. I would have rather had a few more chapters of more advanced operations.
