"Very useful item for PSPs", I would say this product makes the PSP more complete at the time of playing games. And another good thing about this grip is that has a battery included that gives more time to play. But one of the cons about this item will be the way you'll carry it on you backpack or any other pack, due to its four sticks that hold the PSP.

"Can't Imagine PSP without it", This Item is great for an emergency power off by you psp. I can't imagine how cramped my hands would be without this item. Using this the grip is just as comfortable as hold a playstation controller. PSP 3000 fits in nicley. The only complaint I have is that it is a little flimsy, but this does not in any way reduce the grips possitve attributes.

"Great product!", I know it seems tacky, but I'm really liking this product. Essentially its a handle that you clip your psp into, but the handle has a battery in it that gives you an extra 10 hours of play time.

The way it works is that you plug your psp power cable directly into the handle. You can charge the handle without having to attach the psp. Then when you clip the psp in, there's a little cable that hangs out of the handle that you plug into your psp.

Now, I've never thought that the psp was particularly uncomfortable, but I must admit that it's alot more comfortable with the handles. They really are an improvement.

In terms of portability, its a trade-off. Of course the handles make it less portable, 'cause they're bigger and bulkier (the handles collapse inward, slightly decreasing their size, but there's only so much collapsing they can do.). On the other hand, the extra 10 hours of battery life is a huge portability improvement.

I carry around my psp in one of those little cases that holds the psp and some games, and I'll probably still carry that around the same way. But if I'm going somewhere all day, I'll probably throw the grips into my backpack, so I can whip 'em out when I need extended battery life.

Anyway, this handle only works on the psp 2000. Here's one that works on the original psp, though it only offers 6 hours of extra battery life (probably 'cause the old psp is less battery efficient than the new ones).

The only concern that I have is that the top arms stick out from the frame a bit, to hug the top of the psp, and they look like they could snap off if you're not careful with them. They're relatively sturdy though, especially when the psp is clipped in, so its not that much of a worry.

Anyways, I'm really enjoying my battery grips, and I'd recommend them if you ever find yourself running out of battery on your psp.

"Two fixes make this better", Yes, the PSP rattles around in the grip a bit and the handles also move a bit, due to the retractable feature.

- Fix the loose clips by taping something on the inside of the grip on both sides, to make the PSP more snug against the clips
- With each side extended fully, superglue them to the sliding track so they are permanently open. They won't move anymore.

This made it better for me.



"PSP Charger grip for PSP 2000", This charger grip,I think is pretty awesome!It charges the PSP even when you play it gives you longer playing time. Also I really enjoy the grip because it simulates a playstation 2 controller, making the PSP to me more easier to play. It gives you something to hold onto rather than playing the PSP on its own which I find difficult. A great accessory.

"unfortunately, the best you can get for PSP slim", I have seen and used the grips that are availble for the original PSP and they are far superior to this one. I found this one lacking in many areas. It is completely plastic while older versions had rubber portions that made it harder to slide out of your hands. The grip is also slimmer than older versions making it less comfortable. It seems like the people who designed this grip to fit the new PSP 2000 forgot to look at older versions of this grip and use the great features offered by them. Other than these problems, the extra battery is great and truly makes the PSP last extremely long. Based on the fact that you have no other choice for the PSP 2000, I would recommend it, however, when another company decides for make the design better, I would recommend that you toss out this one and replace it with something better. For someone who has never used one of the older grips, you will think this is great. Try to avoid using the older versions or you'll be like me . . .wishing the older version fit the new PSPs!!

"WOW Really extended game play", I have to say this charger grip is a life saver for some one with big hands like mine that owns a psp slim version. Besides that the charger grip offers a great extendes game play experience since you can get up to 10+ hours of game play from it depending on weather you are watching umd movies or playing games. Overall a great purchase.
