"Works with Sony Alpha 300 with a microSD + SD Adapter" It works beautifully with a Kingston microSD card + microsd<->SD adapter. So now basically I just leave the compactflash adapter (with the microSD<->SD adapter nestled inside) inside the camera permanently. And I just need to carry a load of thumbnail sized microSD cards. Love it. Didn't buy this item from Amazon though.
"Works great with a Canon 5D, but is a bit slow." Bought it together with a 16GB AData. Made sure to format card in card reader, not in the camera. Works flawlessly. Is a bit slow:
For 4 shots taken with a Canon 5D in RAW+Large_JPEG.
SANDISK EXTREME IV 4GB - 9 Seconds SANDISK EXTREME II 2GB - 12 Seconds ADATA 16GB - 14 Seconds Adapter + ADATA 16GB SD - 18 Seconds
Note that in my card readed, the Sandisk IV and the AData SD are tied for write speed at ca. 10MB/sec. So, it is most likely the adapter slowing it down. In the adapter, on the computer, the AData writes at 3.9MB/sec, which coincides with the time taken by the 5D, as 4 photographs at 20MB a piece ~= 80MB. At 4MB/sec, that is ~20seconds, which is the observed time to record 4 shots on the 5D.
So, in summary, good for travel (Better to have a slightly slower card that my Laptop and PDA can read w/out any external accessories, than to have a faster card).
Basically, for the money, the adapter is great, UNLESS you do weddings or sports professionally, and routinely max out the buffer on your camera, then it is not for you.
"Canon 20D & Eye-Fi" I purchased this product along with the Eye-Fi home. Followed all of the instructions for the Eye-Fi, had to change my wireless network security option to get the card on the network & registered (used WPA-PSK, TPIK). The Eye-Fi fit well into the adapter and similarly the adapter with Eye-Fi fit well into my 20D. Turned on the camera and a CF error appeared.
A link to a site Photojojo Blog recommended to reformat the card, so I did. Everything works well, camera takes photos and shortly after the Eye-Fi transfers the image(s) to a folder on my computer all wirelessly. Note that you will need a wireless network, will not work Eye-Fi to Computer directly (ad-hoc mode). Small price to pay but it sure beats the bulkier wireless Canon option for about $1000.00.
Only thing missing is a Slide Show software that while running will display images from a folder that is being loaded wirelessly from Eye-Fi. Looking at Able Photo Slide Show V2.3 for that.
"EyeFi card + Canon XTI = Fail" This product DOES NOT WORK with an Eye-Fi wireless SD card. My Canon Rebel XTI gives a CF Card error and refuses to take pictures when using it.
"Mixed results" I purchased this product from an eBay seller in Hong Kong, and tested it with a 4GB Kingston SDHC class 4 card. Although I could format, read and write to the card with my Canon Rebel XT (firmware version 1.0.4) and EOS 40D (firmware version 1.0.8), I could only read and not write when I popped the adapter+card into my NEXTO-CF ND-2500 portable storage device (firmware version 1.38), and could not even read from the combination with my Lexar Firewire CF reader (model FWD11 Rev. C).

What our customer's say!
"YES, Works In Canon Digital Rebel XT (350D) & 40D Cameras!!!", If you're wanting to know for sure that this particular adapter works in a Canon Digital Rebel XT (350D),
THE ANSWER IS YES!!!
I just popped it into my Rebel XT and used a brand new 4GB Class 6 SDHC card made by CFD brand and it works great! I'm relieved...
I have the 1.0.3 firmware installed at this time.
Anyway, while I was trying it out a friend came over with his Canon 40D and it worked just fine in his as well.
The speed seems very, very fast for reviewing back images and even the high speed mode where I can take rapid fire shots is very quick as well.
Highly recommended.
(Realize that my card doesn't have the new green label, but the older label with the brown/gray color scheme. Hopefully it is the same version or better with the new green label.)
Update: Good News: This adapter is allowing me to use newer SDHC cards on older non-sdhc readers. THAT IS GREAT NEWS FOR PEOPLE WITH OLDER READERS THAT DON'T SUPPORT SDHC.
Also, for those of you wanting to check to see if the flash card you bought is fake or not, as well as to test write/read speeds, I highly recommend you check out the free H2testw 1.4 utility.
[...]
I'll use this and test speeds in a few days on a USB2.0 SDHC reader and post the results of how much the adapter slows down compared with the card only.
"works", My notebook computer has a card reader, but will not accept CF cards, so I thought I would try this with my Sony A200 and the several SD cards I have for my Canon point & shoot. It works just fine.
"dissapointed", Thou this adapter supports SDHC cards, it limits the the write/read speed of the card. In tests, the write speed of the SDHC+adapter is reduced to 1/3 of the SDHC. Or is the write speed that was important for me, in saving raw images. For jpeg and recording avi's the speed is OK.
"Works great", Works great in my Nikon D200, and I would expect that it will do the same in any CF using camera
"works!!", works on nikon d300; but not on nikon d700 too thick to go in to card slot

Read this reviews before You buy...
"Works in Sony DSLR a350", Used it with a 4Gb Sandisk SDHC card, didn't have to format it or anything, worked right away.. Might be a tad slower than my SanDisk Extreme III CompactFlash, but handy to transfer the files around..
"Doesn't work for me.", I have yet to find anything it works with. Doesn't work in any of my card readers, nor in my Pentax *istD SLR. I have only tried it with Kingston 2GB SD cards so far. Will not format them in the camera nor in my Mac G4.
"It works, plain and simple.", I bought this so I could use SD cards in my Canon 40D DSLR. It fits into the card slot of the camera perfectly. The SD cards slide into the adapter smoothly and seat firmly. I've tested it with several SD and SDHC cards, all from different manufacturers, ranging in size from 256M to 4G. All were recognized by the camera, and formatted to the proper capacity. I shoot in RAW plus superfine large size JPG mode. Every shot writes about 20M to whatever card is the camera. I see no appreciable difference in the write speed between SD cards in this adapter, and CF cards.
"Worked in Sony Alpha A700 with 2 - 16G SD cards", As SD has become so ubiquitous, this adapter might save your butt while abroad. Purchased to capitalize on all my SD cards for use in my new Sony A700. Tested 1, 2, 8 and 16G cards all of various size. All worked no problem. As my SD cards wont write as fast as a 266X CF, I will get about 7-8 continuous shots before the cameras buffer fills and then I go down to 1 Shot per second. I noticed that this is the case with any 133X CF card also so its not an issue. Single shot write times are fast and read times are also quick. Only issue with adapter+Alpha - the camera's on-board format utility will not recognize the cards ability to format - e.g., you get an error saying it can't format. You can still manually delete files from the camera, so its not a major issue. If you need more than 8 continuous burst shots, go with fast CF, otherwise, this is a far cheaper and more portable method then using CF cards. (NOTE - I also tested a 8G transflash in an sd adapter - Transflash>SD Adapter>CF Adapter - and it worked fine. Was nice to take a shot, and then insert the transflash into my phone and view the picture.)
"WOW", I have a Filemate micro sd with sd and usb adapters, plugging the micro sd into the sd adapter and then plugging it into the CF Type II adapter worked in my Canon Rebel Digital SLR and my Canon G5. Now if it works in my Blackberry which is on order, my digital life will be sweet.
