"Perfectly functional and good looking", Another reviewer is right to point out that you can't put your iPod in the syncing/recharging dock while it's in this case, and it also doesn't work to well with my Griffin Technology iTrip FM Transmitter for iPod (White) attachment. And it won't sit on my PodShop PodHolder: Clear Acrylic Stand, Display, Cradle for iPod while it's wearing this case (the belt clip gets in the way). So from all those standpoints, this case isn't an all-purpose, leave-it-on-forever suit of armor like the Agent18 Hard Case with View Stand and Belt Clip for iPod classic 80 GB 6G (Clear) my wife uses. If that's what you're looking for.

So why get it? Well, this is a well-constructed and easy-to-use case that holds my 80G iPod Classic snugly. It's soft, cushioned to some extent, and I think it's pretty darn good looking, too. Certainly for the price, I wasn't able to find a more attractive, or more functional, case. I'm quite happy with it.

"floppy for classic 80GB", I bought this almost 5 months ago and have been using it, however I am not totally fine with the way it holds the classic in, I mean it is too loose and the classic slides inside up and down.

"Awesome Ipod case", I bought the DLO Hipcase at the same time I purchased my Ipod Classic so I could have something to help protect it. This case is awesome and exceeded my expectations. It is made from high quality materials, my Ipod fits snug and secure but is easy to remove, and the case is very comfortable to wear. It has all the right openings so you have easy access to all of the ports on your Ipod. I seldom ever remove my Ipod from the case because it is so functional. I would highly recommend this case to anyone looking for a very practical and comfortable folio to store and protect your Ipod.

"Hip HipCase", After reading several reviews, I finally decided on this case. I couldn't be happier. The ports are easily accessible, and my iPod is sufficiently secured. I was also quite impressed with the quality of the leather.

"Almost perfect", After getting kinda burned by the XtremeMac IPC-TA6-30 TuffWrap Plus for iPod Classic 160GB - Black/Gray, I decided to give this HipCase a try for my Apple iPod classic 160 GB Black (6th Generation). Success! This case is almost perfect for my needs. I use the iPod while I work around the house, inside and out. I need protection from any drops, sweat, drizzle, etc. The HipCase provides for all of this.

The downsides: there is no protection for the screen/click wheel when the case is flipped open. This was easily remedied by buying a LCD SCREEN PROTECTOR + CLOTH FOR IPOD CLASSIC from eBay. The dock port is always open as well... not good. Again, easily remedied by purchasing a Silicon Dock Plug Protector for IPOD CLASSIC/TOUCH from eBay. Yes, you have to take those extra steps if you REALLY want to be sure your iPod is protected... if the HipCase had included these items, it would be a PERFECT case!

"Great iPod Case", This is a great case for the iPod 80GB. Looks good, provides lots of protection, even the slot cutout for the headphone jack is thoughtfully elongated to allow the flap cover to open neatly while the headphone is plugged it. Flap has a nice magnetic closure and enough padding to protect the iPod face. The cutouts for the click wheel, screen and docking plug are perfectly placed. Wish it came with a builtin screen protector. The pocket clip is not removeable but it does make the case fit securely in my front pant pocket. This is a great deal.

"ipod", This is the best ipod case I have found for the money. All leather case in a folio type presentation. complete access to all functions. Looks nice as well. Comes with a belt clip if you don't want to put it in your pocket.

"Good looking case that does its job.", I have nothing negative to say about this case. It looks nice, it has holes in all the appropriate places so you don't ever need to take it off to do what you need to do with your iPod.

It doesn't add much in the way of bulk or weight, and the clip on the back allows you to keep your iPod out of your pocket if you choose.

If for some reason I needed another cover, I would re-order this one.

"Nice case with good finish", The case is nice with a good feel and finish. The leather is soft and seams are well stitched. As I understand the case is designed to fit both 80GB and 160GB iPod Classics. However, when used with a 160GB iPod Classic, the cutout for the connector at the bottom of the case goes a little bit offset with the connector slot of the iPod, and thus sometimes gets in the way of the cable connector when connecting to the iPod. So when connecting your iPod to your PC or laptop, you have to make sure everytime that the connector has fit snugly into the slot. This aside, it is a nice case for your iPod Classic.
