"Buggy garbage misrepresented as enterprise security", I bought this because I needed malware protection that would run on Windows Server 2003. The price was right - eighty-five bucks for a five user license. But I guess you get what you pay for.

I installed this on three different Windows 2003 server machines, and it crashed two of the three. Had to yank the power plug on one to get it to reboot - seemed to work OK after that. The other machine was so hosed up I couldn't even uninstall the Symantec software - will probably wind up reloading it completely.

It's hard to believe that a supposedly reputable company like Symantec would release such a messed-up product, particularly as an enterprise-class solution. The place I work is in the process of switching over from Symantec to Trend Micro, and after this I can understand why.

"Poor performing product, no customer service", After installing this product (10 user version), our little corporate network got corrupted: server would not respond any more. All clients experienced problems with the local NIS software as well.
