"Endless Ocean", I received this game for Christmas. I really had a fun time playing this game although it is not endless. I was able to complete the game in two days. It kept my interest and I found it very enjoyable. The fish were very realistic and educational.

"For me - Great! Rest of the family - boring.", Shortly after buying a Wii for my wife, 29 and holding, and I, 57 yrs. old, to use - had a blast at Thanksgiving playing with my son's Wii - my son's girl friend gave me their copy of this game. My son, 32 yrs old, rolled his eyeballs and warned me that the game was boring and that neither my son, his girl friend, my daughter nor son-in-law enjoyed this game. I took it anyway and gave it a try. Got entirely hooked. Relaxing exploration, fish species learning, adventure, a few exciting moments, easy to learn, easy natural controls, really beautiful graphics and music. Could use a larger ocean - not really endless and a few different game paths but all-in-all I really enjoyed this game. I played this for 45 hours before getting finished with the first adventure and have spent about 20 more hours just exploring. Game was really fun for the first 45 hours. After that it becomes only occasionally fun as you have seen most everything by then. I still have not given up on it and will be better exploring the M Cave better - maybe more adventures await.

"Peaceful exploration, easy goals", My 5 year old son loves this game and it's on his daily play list. He can play it by himself but we have fun finding new sea life together and then reviewing the game's encyclopedia. He's actually taught me a couple of things with the controls. I might play it myself but like a little more action. However if you like learning, low intensity games, and/or easy controls I say get it. We've still having fun.

"Nice concept...but rated B for boring by my sons and husband", I thought this would be an awesome exploring game, especially for my younger son, but I tried it first and thought it was kind of hard to figure out how to swim, but we are new to the Wii, so then my 9 year old tried it and after about 15 minutes, he said it was to boring.
Then later my husband tried it out, figured out how to swim, explored for about an hour and then he also said it was not very exciting. I think if some things were changed to make it more exciting, then the idea is wonderful, but for now...we wish we hadn't bought it. Sorry!

"Cool, but not as engaging for a kid as I had hoped...", I bought this for my 10 year old daughter,who LOVES animals and the sea. I thought it would be a huge hit. Honestly, it only kept her attention for an evening. I'm hoping maybe she will come back to this game when the novelty of some of her other games wears off. The graphics are pretty decent (for Wii) and the knowledge provided about the animals adds a cool learning component. I'd say the jury is still out on this one for me.

"beautiful and engaging", This is a beautifully developed product. The visuals underwater are stunning. Navigating under water is easy with a little interactive tutorial that helps you figure out how to use the remote. The music is so relaxing, I only wish I could hear it all the time instead of the breathing sound. However, being able to listen to your own with your own SD card loaded with .mp3 files is a great idea.

I bought this title to have an alternative nonviolent and nonfrenetic activity for the adults in the house who get annoyed with the Mario type sound effects/music. This title is wonderful, relaxing and is totally non-violent. The 'tasks' given are easy and help get the hang of using the controls. Being able to explore a gorgeous unwater world is wonderful, as I will never actually go diving. It gives me the experience without getting wet!

Kudos,Nintendo! I hope you do another one like this, perhaps of outer space, or Himalayas, or ancient Rome etc. The possibilities are limitless. Learning is so natural this way.

"It's endlessly wonderful!", My 6 year old granddaughter would rather use Endless Ocean than any of the other Wii games I offer her. We do have to do it together but it's a great activity for us when we can't be outside. She cannot read all of the information (which is definitely not dumbed down) but she can remember it all after I read it to her. Her parents were impressed with all the learning she has enjoyed.

"A relaxing and enchanting game", This game is so different from any of the other games I've seen for the Wii. Actually, it's more of a form of relaxation and discovery since the game story itself is very relaxed. You don't really have any heavy duty "requirements", you mostly just move along at your own speed, discovering the world beneath the ocean's surface.

The graphics are very good and once you figure out how to control your diver, it's very relaxing. There is some music and sounds in the game but you can also use and SD card to play your own mp3's. I just downloaded an mp3 album from amazon called "Heart of the Ocean" by Strong & Bryon that I'm going to listen to while playing the game that I think will add to the relaxation and general feeling. There are all sorts of fish, dolphins, whales, manta rays and other sea life to discover. You can interact by touching or petting them and you can feed them. There's information on the different creatures and you can record what you've discovered by saving it in a log back up on the boat by simply choosing to save the part of the game you're playing that day.

This is a good way to relax when you have a little time at the end of the day and just want to slow down your thoughts before sleeping.

"Great fun", Great game for those who love to explore. Universally appealing game with something for everyone, from the hardcore to their mothers. All of the qualities of a great game, simple concept(exploring the ocean) and wonderful execution. Though it can be quickly blazed through (around 8-10 hours) and the above water parts of the game are bad at best, it is still a wonderful game that everyone(YES, EVEN YOU!) should try.

"Awesome Game", The thing I love about this adventure is that it is both relaxing and stimulating at the same time. After working all day, I can come home and lose myself in a gorgeous, breathtaking ocean. I can also get lost in some pretty tough puzzles, like the things you need to do to complete the Ruins. I cannot think of any other game or adventure that has invoked such jaw-dropping awe in me. Sometimes I actually believe I am swimming along side a whale. How cool is that? And I have actually seen a few whales in real life!
