"Halo 3 Series 2 Master Chief", Very well made McFarland product, awesome action figures. Made for the mature and small handed person alike. Durable and fun.

"Not quite the same as the box suggests", Upsides: very detailed to the point of having battle damage on the chest, weapon is quite detailed as well, stands easily without assistance

Downsides: doesn't include the shotgun that was pictured on the box, I don't know if this is limited to mine but the rear codpiece armor comes off very easily making the legs fall off, it does take some pushing to get the grenade stored, kinda difficult to pose with the laser, and the helmet & chest pieces do not remove (that I could see, could very well be wrong about that)


All in all, this is a good Master Chief. Of course, I only have this and a Combat Elite. I'm happy with him and his detailing.

"Highly detailed. Difficult to set up the position shown in the picture. Does not stand firmly.", Highly detailed. I liked the feature of a movable thumb on on the hand that holds the trigger. Difficult to set up the position shown in the picture. I spent a long time trying to figure out how to set up the figure shown in the product picture. The weapons, the grenade and and the gun can not be fixed to the body of the figure easily. There is a small removable plastic piece that sticks out of the weapons for them to be attached to the body. That piece can not be inserted completely into neither the body of the figure nor the weapon itself, which destroys the over all look with the high quality details on the weapons and the figure. Does not stand firmly, but the toes are attached to the feet by a separated joint which helps a bit.


"amazing.......... but fragile", first off this is by far the best action figure i have ever recived and the first of my halo colection.the one problem i had was when i first got the spatain laser in his hand it fit well (after pulling on the fingers to open up more)then when i put it on a second time the thumb on his right hand came of. i fixed it, it had a peg and the hole was in the hand. but it fell off if i wasn't carfull. so i just used a dab of super glue and its fine. so be carfull with the right hand. besides that whole drama this figure is amazing! five stars!

"the gun didn't fit in his hand ", i got the guy and his gun didn't fit in his hand, but he still is pretty cool.

"Yup, it's a McFarlane", Very very high standards of quality for this one.
I ordered pretty much all of the series 2 guys, and while he certainly isn't the best figure in the series, he is still, a McFarlane
what does this mean?
well, he has a TON of articulation, yet still retains a rediculous amount of detail. Like series 1 he has armor damage present in the game, and he does indeed have a spartan lazer.
the joints can be a little stiff to first move tho, so i would suggest breaking each joint in first, before attempting to pose or play
for play this figure is pretty good, the Splazer has a little figer gaurd thing that is a littly too easily broken, but it's like a half a cm of plastic so no surprise there
he does not come with either a BR or a shottie, despite what the page says, but hey THIS master chief actually COMES with a grenade
other than that, the only real difference from the series one is that this master chief appears substancially darker in his green, he truly is forest green

"better the frist series", This is toy is great, expect for the fact it does not it does not bring a secondery weapon(only bring spartan laser and gernade).Also in the box it lies about saying it has a removable chest plate helmet and shoulder pads but still this toy is more durable than the frist series expect of coruse is you rougth play with it.it has amazing detail and its joint are very resitant.but a good tip well it worked for me is i like to change the peds for some 2mm diameter and 1mm depth two all guns just the only problem is u can't get it near electrical equipment.

"Yet another McFarlane halo series", First, the package comes with a GRENADE and a SPARTAN LASER.
The picture on amazon used to show chief battle rifle and spartan laser
before the release date and now it's changed to chief with shotgun and spartan laser.
But NO, it does not come with either shotgun nor battle rifle.
This is my first time getting halo toy and when I first opened the package, the grenade and spartan laser had a peg sticked on them.
I thought the pegs couldnt be removed and thought its going to look
ugly with weapons not able to remove peg on them.
But, I found out the pegs on the grenade and the spartan laser are
removable!!
The chief is painted in very detail and it does not have any early model
(Series 1 Master Chief, this error has been fixed also fixed now) error where front of chief's helmet had been painted over with the yellowish gold color.
I think the joints on the arms are fragile, need to really handle carefully when moving arms or it might break.
I also would have given 5 stars if it had another weapon shown as in above picture instead of greanade. But, overall I'm very satisfied with the details and quality of this toy.

"Amazon Description Wrong", The series 2 Master Chief only comes with the Spartan Laser and a grenade, not a Battle Rifle like Amazon says.

It is still however very cool looking, just like the series 1 MC.
