Others say...

"Great Product, but why not standard on the Zune 120?"
Love this product and shipment and delivery was on time. My only question is why Microsoft no longer offers this as the standard earset for the Zune 120GB. I ordered these separately because they have such great sound !

"Nice Earbuds"
They have nice bass, would have preferred a bit more, the smallest ear inserts fit nicely, they cancel out sounds pretty well, overall, great earbuds. If you get them with the 80GB Zune, then they are awesome considering they come free, but if you buy them separately, then I would have personally paid $25 for them(I bought them separately). Otherwise, best earbuds I have ever had, but I'm still looking for more. I'm hoping to pay $50-$70 for a nicer pair once these stop working.

"Quality build ... that's may be most of what there is to it"
For music on the go, this product will stand out as having good quality all around and looks. the sound is decent though not articulate in tiny hi-end details as the good Sennheiser CX, nor is it bassy as some MDR-EX or the "Sound-squared" series. But this would last and probably serve you well for what you do, including jogging. Choose the rubber plugs to your liking and you'd be all right. 3 stars bc I'm a moderate audiophile

"Cool design, too bad about the sound quality"
The design of the earbuds is really cool. I like all of the magnetic aspects, and the cloth cords almost make me wish that all headphone cords were made that way. However, the sound quality is mediocre at best.

The standard for full frequency range reproduction is 20Hz to 20kHz. The Zune earbuds are only rated for 20Hz to 15kHz. I know those last 5 kHz are very high, but it's not as if only dogs ought to be able to hear them. Without them, music can sound very dull.

I got some Sennheiser CX300s at the same time, and they sound far better. I might use the Zune headphones again, but only to listen to spoken word broadcasts.

"Zune Earphones"
These earphones are really good. The clarity is amazing for its low price, and the bass boost makes all sorts of music sound 10 times better. Only thing you have to worry about is it lasting all throughout the year. I sleep with mine in, and i have to swap for new ones every 6-9 months. So if you don't sleep with them in, they probably will last you a good year to a year and a half, i give this product a 5 star.
