* It's big

If you ever got to check out Jawbone's demo video on their website, you'll see the actor showing you how well it works when you're at super-noisy places. What he doesn't show you, is when the volume in the surrounding area is, say in an office where there're people talking around you. What does it mean? It means the noise cancellation only works in very noisy environment.

The call quality is fine when paired with a RAZR, but not so good with the HTC Touch. People would complain about the echo while paired with the Touch, so I have to take it off when they're bothered by it.

The battery lasts about 3 hours after fully charged... good enough for me.

To keep Jawbone stay in my ear, I got a spounge-like cover and just wrap it around the earpiece, and it works 70% of the time as long as I don't shake my head much.

I would expect the Jawbone to work better at this price and got hyped up by so many users... hopefully something better at a reasonable price will come up by the time I have to replace the Jawbone.

"Works great .. once you figure it out"
I have had my headset for about a year now and love it. The noise cancelation works great! I have been driving on the freeway with my window down when a semi-truck goes by and the person on the other end did not even know.

HOWEVER, for me it took a lot of work to figure out how to position the thing on my ear just right so the cancelation worked. Once I got it figured out it has always worked great, but it did take a lot of trying to get it right. The device is also not very easy to slip onto your ear quickly. I also wish the volume went a little higher. I can still always hear people but sometimes I have to concentrate too much to hear them.
For those reason I give it a 4 instead of a 5.

"It was alright"
I wasn't thrilled with the jawbone it does seem to work good and others i talked to seem to like it but it just didn't seem to work for me, i campare it to the blueant Z9 which i previously owned but had to give it away because it wouldn't pair with a newer phone i got. The Jawbone is very caparable to the Blueant Z9 which i would consider in ways better for me only issue was i couldn't get it to pair with my LG CU515. I didn't like how the jawbone fits on my ear it filt lose and is suppost to touch my face for my voice to sound better over back ground noice supposively and i had a tough time trying to make it stay in that position so i'm thinking about what i will replace it with. Now so far the blueant after reviews i've read seems to be the best.

"Works Good"
I had a few Bluetooth headsets. The Jawbone fits nice and sounds good. What else would you want from a headset?

"Love this"
Great product, great item - i carry it with me wherever i go, and use it with my iphone. i'm very happy!

What our customer's say!

"Worth the higher cost", It is remarkable how ubiquitous the Bluetooth headset has become. It seems they are hanging on ears nearly everywhere you look. Prices on these devices have also been dropping like a rock, recently breaking the $20 barrier.
In this environment, I have heard some folks gaffaw at the $70 price of the Jawbone. However, in my opinion, rarely has the much higher quality of a headset been more justified.
First off, the Jawbone seems to pair easily and quickly with just about any phone. This is a great advantage, since I and lots of folks I know have a drawer full of cheaper BT headsets that refuse to reliably pair up.
Further, the Jawbone also has a strong signal that avoids the interference that seems to plague these headsets, especially in urban, RF choaked settings.
If should be noted that Bluetooth frequencies are actually not far from those for celluar PCS phones. Thus, if you are driving around underneath high powered PCS sites hanging 12 feet above your car, it's easy for the signals to overpower a cheap bluetooth headset, even one a few feet from your phone.

Finally, the Jawbone has great background noise cancellation, so people can hear you without road noise. I'm surpised how many clients ask me if I'm actually driving, while wearing my Jawbone.
In all, I would suggest you go for quality over price in getting a headset, especially if you are in a headset mandatory state. It's worth the extra money for easy, fast pairings and a reliable signal. Celluar phones are bad enough without having to worry about a bad bluetooth adding to your connection problems.

"terrible call quality", terrible call quality, hard to use buttons. Bulky and uncomfortable.

Looked stylish, but ill stick to my old, comfortable, and dirty logitech.

"Jawbone Bluetooth Headset", Mono headset. reception is great for people on the other end of the call. Headset does not fit comfortably in the ear. Takes some getting used to mono sound from earpiece. But overall, a good headset.

"Comfort and Calrity", I purchased for my wife, her last one, Motorola H700 jurt the ear and was too much background noise. Jawbone works as desribed, very comfortable, loud and clear in noisey environments as advertised....the draw back is it is not so easy to put on the ear, but once on..works great.

" not so good", didnt like it to hard to use

"The original Jawbone headset - what it's cracked up to be?", I was a little disappointed with the performance of the Jawbone. I expected excellent noise cancelation, but discovered otherwise upon using it for myself. It seems to be a standard, solid headset with long battery life, good style and fit - but it's not a huge step above the other headsets on the market. A step, yes, but not a huge step.

The original Jawbone is a good headset, but if you're expecting perfect noise cancelation, this probably isn't the headset for you.

"Better than expected!", I watched the video online of the Aliph Jawbone filtering out the noise of a leaf blower. I rarely believe the hype, but if it's even half as good, then it would be better than my aged and failing Jabra that had served me so well. I looked at others that seemed smaller and better looking, but decided to give the Jawbone a try. I am not guided strictly by the nice lines of a headset, but rather the functionality as a first consideration for purchase. I put it on clumsily placing the rubber loop behind my ear as it didn't just "slip into place" the first time. It came with no instructions, so I went online and looked them up. It's simple to program and use. The active noise filter worked better than I had expected. The sound comes in clear and clean. I called others and had someone call me while using the Jawbone. While not the prettiest headset on the market, the sound quality is excellent! One other plus is that I kept it on all day, even took a nap laying down with it on and it did not make my ear sore or become uncomfortable as others did after a few hours. It stayed on without adjustment and never came loose or fell off. It charges quickly and lasts a couple of days as that's as long as I have let it go without charging. I do not talk on the phone long enough to test the talk time

"The fit and earpiece's suck", I have been trying to get this to work for a week now. The earpiece came loose first time I tried to change it and it has remained loose. No way to tighten it.

bag small, no matter... It really does not work.

I am returning. I don't care what it sounds like

"Bluetooth/jawbone", The product was sent right away, and was in good working order. Thanks for expedient service. Joan smith

"Hands free device", Firstly I did not receive it in 2-3 days as it said I would. It took 8 days to receive it. The reception and sound is good for me, but when I talk to others they say I sound like I'm in a cave. So that is difficult. I'm not really pleased with my purchase. And as an addendum, after a few months now, it is not working as one of the inner ear pieces has broken. I would not recommend this item at all and especially if you order it from Accessory One. Their customer service has been horrible.
