"Did not work on any Mac I owned.", I have tried two of these packs. The Mac section of this CD did not work on either one and the program could not be installed.

I tried it on 4 Macs, each with different processors & versions of OSX, all supported by emedia. Each gave the same error: 'Cannot complete the operation because some data in 'emedia piano method' could not be read'.

Emedia's customer service was simply non existent. They did not acknowledge or reply to two requests for support.

Interestingly, despite saying 'v2.0' on the CD, the file properties of the mac application showed 'Version 1.0'. The retailer tested the PC application and it worked fine but there is at least a batch of CDs with corrupted Mac software out there.


"Bummer - doesn't work with Vista", Does not work. Gave 2 stars because at least the company returned my call and took time to explain that if you have Vista you have to use a Quicktime version from five years ago (!). I did that and it worked... but then you have QT complaining constantly AND a lot of websites don't work. Oh, it also doesn't work if you have ITunes, so have to delete that (and all you tunes) from your computer. Sheesh!

"piano and keyboard method v2", this makes it easy enough for a young person to do the work, but it takes an adult to supply the structure and to explain some more intricate issues.
