"Awesome! (if you have the right camera!)"
This is my first ever Amazon review. I just couldn't sit back and watch these little skins get slammed when people were cramming them on the wrong camera.

First of all, these skins are meant for the Flip Video Classic. The lens is off center. If you do not have the Classic, do not buy these skins. If you do have it, I highly recommend them. And if you buy them even though you don't have the Classic, have the class not to give a bad rating just because you made the wrong choice.

So, start by checking your camera. Is the lens off center? Look at the holes in the skins on the picture. Would they fit your camera right?

Now why should you buy these? A) they are cute! B) they are easy to use C) they are interchangeable D) they protect your snazzy Flip Video E) they are non-slip.

Mine came in a day before expected, a welcome surprise at the front door. I grabbed the pink one and slid it on the camera. It fit perfectly. The power button is covered, but still works easily. The USB arm is also covered, but its location makes it easy to get to, as the skin will just pull over the corner of the camera. The skin is fairly thick which gives me confidence that it will withstand a bit more of a tumble than it would have. It is also somewhat slip-resistant so little hands (like my 6 year old's) can cling to it better.

All in all I love the skins. Get them, but only if you have the right camera. And if you don't have the right camera but buy them anyway - don't leave a bad review just because you made a mistake.

"Keep your Skin"
This is a terrible product! It does not fit over the eye of the camera, and I tried several times on each color. Get more a fitting cover for this great product.

"Skins don't fit"
I placed this on my Flip video recorder and it covered up the lens. You'd think at least that hole would be right?

Extremely unhappy would not work with Ultra Flip that I bought at the same time. They were a recommended Item so I bought them. There was nothing to indicate they would not work with the Ultra. I will end up throughing them away. It cost almost as much to return as the skins cost.

"THESE DON'T FIT!"
I was so disappointed in this product. My daughter received the Flip Camcorder and Skins from Santa this year. Unfortunately, we relied on our previous experiences with Santa and Amazon and threw out the packaging before trying out the skins. While the back side of the skin fits, the front, where the lens is, is completely off by about a 1/2" on all three skins. There's a small sensor hole on the front by then lense that lines up perfectly. These skins may have worked for an earlier version, but don't work for the Flip Ultra. Don't waste your money. Very disappointed.
