"Awesome!" This steering wheel is the best one to buy! Awesome wireless and vibration. also the force feedback is incredible.
"xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel" Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel This product came delivered as described (New-In box) the product is a joy to use. I am pleased with the purchase. A fresh change from the same old standard controller. Give it a try.
"Excellent but might be unconfortable for some!!!"
What a great product. Works awesome specially with Forza Motorsport2. I have also tried it with Need for Speed, where forceback does not work so good as in fm2.
A very importat aspect is that, although you can use it on your lap, finding a place for pedals is hard, usually if you drive a sedan, pedal are not far away from you, and at home you would usually get a high chair, where you feel more like driving a high speed truck.
Still its a great product.
"Not for everyone/game" I purchased this wheel because of all the positive reviews I read here, I just wanted something to make my gaming experience better and this certainly did NOT.
Your handling is so much better with the regular controllers, precision is completely lost here the cars are all over the place with the wheel, you have several settings to change and I tried everything but still couldn't manage to do as good as I did with the controllers.
I first tried it on GRID and crash crash crash..., It was better with forza2 but still not good enough, the cars slip out of control at the first turn, I also changed the regular view mode to the in car mode and it was even worse.
To be fair the wheel looks great with a real quality finish to it and the clamp works really well so do the pedals, installation was very easy and the force feedback is awesome, it feels like a sports car.
I really wanted to like this wheel but I just couldn't I'm afraid it's back to the controllers for me while using the wheel ocassionally just for fun.
Conclusion: maybe it's just me!!
"this wheel is more than worth the price" I'm back to playing forza2 and have actually started the game over because of this wheel... i bought a "table-mate" II to mount the wheel and it works perfect.. the table's height is adjustable which is important:
table: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000EGJQG4?ie=UTF8&redirect=true&tag=wwwincomp%5F1026%5F33971-20
also, for those who drive with a manual transmission the wheel has "paddles" which are located on the wheel and are activated by your fingers... they are hard to see in most photos... but it makes shifting gears effortless... the force feedback is nice and the wheel is top notch...
very glad i got it... i'll be playing many more driving games now...

What our customer's say!
"How it Works in Forza 2, DiRT, PGR4, and Burnout Paradise", Forza 2: No other racing game compares to how well the wheel works in this game. It takes some getting use to, but the force feedback puts the feeling of powering and drifting around corners right in your hands. The feedback really is *feedback* and is part of the simulation- asymmetrical tension while cornering and varying acceleration. You can actually feel the wheels catch when you downshift! It's even part of the damage model. At least half as much fun as tearing around a real track (no adrenaline to mention). Definitely use the manual transmission. It may be more difficult, but after a while, you start using it to your advantage in cornering.
DiRT: This game is massive fun with a wheel, especially on long point-to-point races with lots of shifting at corners. However, there are too many bumps in the road to use the effects. It feels like the wheel is trying to tear itself apart. I simply turn the feedback and tension to maximum and turn the effects off completely (under Options -> Game). If you've adjusted the settings and you still get effects, just unplug the power at the back of the wheel and plug it back in.
PGR4: Not my favorite wheel experience. The built-in driver doesn't work all that well. Just a controller, not a real feedback experience. Compared to Forza 2, a large disappointment. Better than not having a wheel, though some people might actually prefer to use the controller. Using the E-Brake is a bit awkward, and certainly doesn't feel intuitive.
Burnout Paradise: This wheel is the difference between being an out-of-control trainwreck and a pinpoint accurate cruise missile. Burnout is a super-fast, kinetically violent experience and is vastly improved by using a wheel. Using the E-Brake isn't very intuitive here either.
"Uncomfortable, unadjustable, and imprecise", This peripheral fails on both levels--as a simulation device and as a gaming device.
Not only does the wheel only rotate 270 degrees (versus a car steering wheel which can rotate a minimum of 720 degrees), it also is set to an unadjustable height. For this reason, it feels very gamey.
At the same time, instead of improving your game immersion and experience, it plays the role of a major set back in games. In games where I previously played on expert level for most courses, I am now stuck on beginner setting and am struggling.
Force feedback does not work on the PC, even with games where a regular Xbox 360 controller has force feedback. Also, force feedback doesn't work at all unless it's plugged in--which I can understand for reserving battery life, however it somewhat defeats the point of a "wireless" peripheral.
I purchased microsofts original sidewinder usb force feedback steering wheel for my windows 98 machine a decade ago. It was just as terrible (and used a majority of the same parts!). The only reason I bought this was because it was on clearance at Target for $70 and I have been playing a lot of racing games lately. I wish I had bought fable 2 for my 360 instead of this thing...
It takes a lot of room to store this (obviously, as true for any large gaming peripheral such as Wii Fit or Guitar controllers).
Don't waste your money.
"Could have been better", Sadly you really don't have much of a selection as far as wheels for the Xbox360 goes. Xbox's wheel is better than its competition. However when you compare it with the ones Logitech makes for PS2/PS3 there is no comparison.
The Logitech wheels today provide much larger turn angle (900), more forceful haptics, and provides ALL the controls that are part of a standard PS2/PS3 controller. Logitech's device tends to work on both PCs as well as Playstations.
The Xbox's wheel on the otherhand only works for the Xbox and does not provide all the controls on a standard controller. This makes certain selections in a game impossible. E.g. when you want to use the right thumbstick to look around when driving.
All my gripes aside, this wheel does indeed enrich a game of Forza 2.
"Very Disappointed ", I purchased this to have a different experience in driving games, the reason I bought this was they went down in price and Xbox 360 makes great products. The reason why I give this product a 1 star is I was given the wrong product I bought this and someone sent me a cheap piece of crap racing wheel, the one I bought isn't wireless it has stupid stickers on it. The one I bought is this Xbox 360 Wireless racing wheel, some how they sent me a Xbox 360 MC2 Racing Wheel by Mad Catz. I hate it It wasn't even made in thought of the 360 I feel that I was ripped off and cheated out of my $[...]. I demand an explanation please amazon my review is not against this product but the product that I received.
"Awesome", Very happy with this product. Def makes racing games with the 360 alot more fun.

"Wireless Racing Wheel", This is a great addition to an xbox system. The racing wheel works so well I'm amazed its not sold in a package with an xbox system. I use it with Forza II and if you have gone through the whole game and it starts getting a little old this makes it completely different. It does make the cars easier to control but it also makes the whole game seem more realistic even if you dont race as well at first its still more fun. The bumps and kickback when you run upon curb are exactly accurate. The only draw backs are a little loss of brake feel (the peddles dont have feedback) and I'm sure a car like a Lexus would not take quiet this much steering effort. It steers easier if you use batteries but does not give the heavy feedback like the electric powered part. Its certainly a worthwhile addition to an xbox system.
"Fun, impressive quality", I bought two wheels and they have brought new life into my old racing games. My friends and I have been really impressed with the quality of the wheel. It feels great to hold and makes it that much more fun to drive. Not all setups work great though. We put ours on a table in front of the TV. It has some nice clamps that don't hurt the table, but still keep it in place. Also, we keep it plugged into the wall for force feedback and then also don't have to worry about batteries. Like that it is awesome. But if you use this in your lap or only with batteries, the fun of using the wheel will probably drop dramatically.
"xbox360 wireless racing wheel", I had a logitech racing wheel[that was ok]except I kept tripping over the wire to the box. I don't trip any more with the wireless wheel and it works alot better in responcitivity and control. The only thing I did't like was the ring in front of the brake&gas which supports the base. My heals were uncompfortable on the ring so I used a hot knife to cut the ring off. Alot better! I would highley recomend this racing wheel, it has great control and ease of setup. Tommy W.
"It's too dificult to control the car...", I've been using for 2 weeks now, and the precision of this device is not what I expected.
"Xbox Fan", Great addition to the xbox system. We have many driving games and using this item is much more fun than using the controller. The force feedback feature is great and installation was simple.
