"Longer cables needed", This cable is well constructed and served well on the longer distance needed in my set-up. Home theaters need good longer cables. Dual RCA cable needed to connect sound for newer HDTV's.

"Pretty Good", This is a pretty good cable. I use the cable for connecting my Logitech Speakers to my TV. The quality is pretty good, except sometimes when watching movies there is a little bit of static.
