"Great mouse", Ok, I have used five different wireless mice, and I have to say this one is great. This is my first bluetooth or laser mouse. The bluetooth is nice because of the range. I sometimes use my laptop as a video player since it has hdmi out, and the mouse becomes the remote.

After using a laser you will never go back to optical. Laser is way better and will work on ANY surface. That includes glass, the couch, or even the carpet.

I don't know about the battery life yet, but I have been using it a few hours a day for the last three weeks and I am still on the first pair of AAs, which seems decent to me. It says it even has a warning light for when you should replace them.

"Good for work, not for game", It is good enough for regular user, but if you want to use it to play FPS games,it will not be a good choice.

"works great, no complaints", Bought this to go with a Bluetooth enabled Dell Mini 9 netbook. Had it working in less than 5 minutes of opening the box (most of that was the Logitech software installation). The netbook recognizes the mouse right away and auto connects to it when I boot up.

The mouse will go into sleep mode if it's not moved for about 10 seconds, but it wakes up and reconnects in less than a second, so no big deal.

Only downside I see is remembering to turn the mouse off when you're finished using it (the on/off button on the bottom is way too small).

BTW, it does work on games (the few I have installed on my netbook at least), however the middle wheel is not recognized as a mappable button (I think there is a freeware app that fixes that, not sure).

Overall, nice product and I'm glad I bought it.

"Great Device", Its Sleek . Its Slim and it fits perfectly. Ergonomic as well as asthetic. Great match for my Aqua Blue Speck Cover for Macbook.


"Great Mouse", Great Mouse, i purchased mine to replace an Apple Mighty Mouse, which it replaced well. The scroll button is quite tough-feeling, which was my gripe with my previous mouse. Very stylish, and it is the right size. BT makes it very convenient - no dongles or usb receivers to connect.

"Excellent design, reliable, and nicely-sized B-tooth mouse!", I bought this mouse to replace an aging Kensington bluetooth mouse, and to do the duty of a far-lesser "pretender to the throne", an iGo Stowaway bluetooth mouse, and I couldn't be happier. This mouse has great feel, great contours that fit the hand well, and the best part: its bluetooth link is super-reliable, essentially never needing re-pairing with my computer. I have had other bluetooth products with far less reliable radio links, and that grows quite frustrating after a while.

This Logitech is very easy on batteries, but it still gives very precise, accurate pointer control (also frustrating when it's lacking, which is often the case with wireless mice) without being fussy about radio linking. This mouse is one of the few bluetooth ones that I would strongly recommend; wireless mice are tricky to do well, and bluetooth ones are even trickier, and they are newer to be widely accepted. Logitech has pretty much nailed it with this mouse.

Many other wireless mice (both bluetooth and the standard RF/USB types) lack a dedicated on/off switch on the bottom, but Logitech put one into this mouse, which is another feature I really like. Call me a dinosaur, but I like to turn it off when finished for the day and KNOW it's off, not just "hope it figured out to sleep" on its own! Further, because this mouse does not rely on deep-sleep to conserve batteries (it doesn't need to), it's much faster to reawaken after a long pause in the action. You will find that this subtle but important point really matters if you compare the operation of this mouse to the very "sleepy" ones out there.

If you spend lots of time on the computer as I do, you need a good wireless mouse -- Buy this one (if you're a bluetooth person) and you will not be disappointed!

"Much larger than expected.", Although the mouse works very well and Amazon was, as usual, quick in shipping it... I was totally surprised at how large it was. My previous laptop mice were appropriately diminutive, but not so here! This one is just about the same size as my desktop mouse - not something that will easily fit in the small pouch of my travel bag. Amazon needed to give some scale to show that it wasn't the usual small size of laptop mice.


"nice mouse", I bought this for my wife's laptop which has internal blue tooth. Installed easily. Would like to be able to speed up the horizontal scroll which is a bit slow for my taste. Other than that it is great. I particularly like having an on/off switch. Can't comment on battery life as we have not had it long enough to replace the battery. Waiting for a special to get one for myself.


"Logitech V470 Cordless Mouse", Bought for my late-2007 Intel iMac. Much better control than with the Apple Supermouse. Only complaint is that on startup it is sometimes not recognized by the iMac; though a simple matter to resolve (pressing the "connect" button on the base of the mouse), it does take extra time to boot. The wireless feature goes further than expected in cleaning up the wiring mess on my workspace, and is the inspiration to convert more devices to wireless.

"Needed to upgrade bluetooth driver, but otherwise it was fine", I have an IBM thinkpad T60 for which I already had a Logitech Bluetooth mouse, but for some reason it wouldn't connect to this mouse. I had to upgrade the Bluetooth driver (using the Thinkvantage software updater) before this mouse actually worked. The provided SetPoint utility doesn't seem very useful, its just one more piece of junk in the system tray.

The mouse itself is very smooth and responsive. I took off the one star because of the trouble getting it to work initially.
