"Garmin Nuvi 760 4.3 inch Widescreen GPS", I was excited to get this GPS and did a lot of research on GPS's. I am a little disappointed in a few things. It didn't come with any case or cover to protect it so I had to buy one. To test it I put in places I knew how to get to and it always takes me the long way around without giving me any options for shortest route!! Even to or from going home it takes me miles out of the way. Also mispronounces major streets i.e. SamMAMish is pronounced as SaMANish...gets irritating after a while. Gets you there eventually, but just not on the shortest or fastest route. The screen is nice, easy to use and enter information. "Great for the GPS function", I have enjoyed this GPS since the day I received it. It is accurate and fast. My only caution is to buy the GPS for its main function and not spend the extra $$ for the MP3 player and Bluetooth. Both functions work, but for as loud as I have to set the volume, the speakers are grainy. However, if you find it on an amazing sale like I did, go for it.

"Definitely a great buy!!!", Can't say enough good things about this. It's so user friendly and "recalculates" pretty quick if you make a wrong turn.

If there must be a "down" side, in my opinion it's pretty small. When you first turn it on, it takes quite a while (about 2-3 minutes) to load up and start. But once it doesn, it the best.

"Nuvi 760 Review", AMAZON provided excellent customer support when I had to return to 1st GPS that I received. They shipped me a new one immediately and gave me 30 days to return the defective one. I consider the quality of the product to be GOOD. During a recent trip to Miami I noticed that in busy intersections sometimes I was given the incorrect exit. But overall, I believe that it is a good buy.

"Garmin Nuvi 760", Got this for xmas '08. I love it. The real time animation is very realistic. This thing shows the speed limit of the street your on and how fast your going, it's within 1-2 MPH of my car's speedomiter. Sometimes when you first turn it on it takes about 30-45 sec to load the maps, but not always. With the text to voice it speaks the street names so you really don't have to look at the screen just listen to the directions. A few other web sites had it alittle cheaper then Amazon, but I ordered from Amazon because I trust Amazon and they had free shipping.

"Garmin 760 is a great product", The Garmin nüvi 760 4.3-Inch Widescreen Bluetooth Portable GPS Automobile Navigator is a great GPS with many features and an easy to read screen day or night. One nice feature is that it does not argue with you when you miss a turn, it just recalculates the route. I have many GPS units and this is far and away the best GPS I have every had.

"Garmin Nuvi 760", The unit itself is amazing. However, the suction mounting mechanism broke after only using it 3 or 4 times. It is very cheaply made. Also, the fact that I had to print my own manual was cheap on Garmin's part - not "green" as the customer service person said! If they were only concerned about being "green", they could allow you to select whether or not you want the manual.

"My second Garmin", The nuvi 760 works very well. From a cold start, it's navigating faster than my nuvi 660. Unlike the 660, it has an optional qwerty key layout but it doesn't hide useless letters as you type, like my 2008 Honda CR-V navigator does. It also doesn't have a "satelite map" mode like on the 660 when you press the signal strength, but this isn't a big deal. The 760 comes with a better windshield mount than the 660 and there is no retractable GPS antenna to deal with. The 760 doesn't come with a leather case like the 660 did, but the 760 is thinner and easier to carry in a shirt pocket. When you connect the 760 to your computer, you can send addresses or locations from Google maps directly to your nuvi favorites.

"Works great", I have used the 760 for a month now and it works great, very nice display.The only disapointment is that it does not have an RV or Truck routing mode.
