"Great, nice Set."
I, like everyone else already saw the films prior to this release. Sometimes it takes me a while to watch films. I bought this set when it was first released and all that I did was to preview them. That is, I looked at the picture quality and sound quality. They are both excellent! I still have not watched them through on BD, but I saw enough to give the highest marks.

I only speak on BD quality, not the films. If I must, then I would say that the Mary Jane being caputred and held as bait should not be the plot point for all three films, but it is. In the comic books, Spiderman did not spend any where as much time with Mary Jane as in the movies. She was hardly ever involved with exploits. I hope that the next film reduces Mary Jane's role, does not have the villian holding a Gwen Stacey hostage as bait for Spiderman(it will kill the series), and it would not be a bad ideas to follow the comics and have Spidey battle non-traditional Spidey foes such as Dr. Doom, The Punisher (that would have been a good way to tie-in a NEW Punsiher film - think!) or the Leader.

This set is a must buy and is probably (along with Casino Royale and politics) why Blu Ray won the war.

There already making TWO MORE Spider Mans with Tobey Maguire I would wait until there on Blue Ray but its up to you, Great set but wont have all of them.

"It's Spiderman"
I'd seen all 3 movies prior to this purchase, however, this now enables me to view any of the 3 whenever I feel like it. My only commentary is, "It's Spiderman". I think that says enough. I'm well pleased with the delivery terms, condition and quality of the products.

The first two are great, but the last is very... meh. But buy this anyway. Good enough.

"Wait for the "final" boxset to be released"
This DVD Trilogy box contains the two-disc editions of SM 1&2 and the single-disc edition of Spidey 3. However, 1 and 3 are available separately in 3-disc sets, and I'd be surprised if 2 wasn't given the 3-disc treatment right before Christmas. So, when the 3-disc editions of all 3 movies are available in one box (think Ultimate Matrix Collection), then that will be the one to buy. This box can be skipped.

"Awesome Blu Ray Movies", These movies never looked better on this High Definition Blu Ray Set. One thing I would like to have seen would have been a digital copy disc for these movies but I guess that was not in the cards. Overall Spiderman is one of the best comic movies that have been done. You won't be disappointed with this set.

"Great set if you're interested only in the movies", I have mixed feelings about having purchased this item, first of all I'd like to mention the 3 stars go to the set and not the movies.

Since I got my PS3 and my HDTV set I became a fan of high definition. I loved Spiderman and loved Spiderman 2 even more. I actually never bought Spiderman 3 on DVD as to me, it is Spiderman's "Batman forever". I owned thought 1 and 2 on their special 2 disc edition each, I decided to sell those in order to get the HD version and I kinda regret that.

In the box:

Spiderman (1 disc)
Spiderman 2 and 2.1 (1 disc)
Spiderman 3 (2 discs, feature film and bonus features)

While the movies look and sound incredible on Bluray, Spiderman 1 and 2 have no extras whatsoever! For a trilogy set so eagerly anticipated by fans, Sony put very little effort in this release. Yes, they released the movies in full HD but got rid of all the extras on 1 and 2! Only Spiderman 3 has a bonus disc and like I said before, is my least favorite of the three. The documentaries, easter eggs (like Alfred Molina dressed as Doc Oc performing "If I were a rich man") and bonus features from the first two are not in the trilogy boxset!

The only good thing I can think of to make me feel better is the fact that I got this at the Gold Box deal for $37

I would definitely recommend this set if you're interested in the movies only, if you expect an upgrade from the DVD versions like I did, this will only disappoint you.


"we've all seen the movies", tobey maguire as peter parker is just as bad as elijah wood as frodo baggins. good movies dampened by the leads but strengthened by the rest of the cast.

"Not a real collection boxset.", I like the movies and I want to add this trilogy to my DVD collection. However, this set is not a collection boxset that I am looking for. They are 3 separate spiderman movies in their own packages, and bundled together in a newly design cardboard box and called them "Trilogy".
The worst is that they are the unsold inventory which they applied white stickers to cover the barcode in the back of each box. I felt cheated by Sony Pictures. They should have done a better job by creating a real boxset in a nice package with some additional materials.
If you are looking for a nice collection boxset, please skip this set.

"Spider Man Trilogy", Bought this for a gift for my grandson. Was pleased with the short length of time it took to receive the movies. It was in excellent shape with all three movies in a single Spider Man Trilogy storage sleeve. Very pleased with this purchase.

"Absolutely Worth It !!!!!", Just as you might have seen in the theatre, BD provides better sound and vision for all the viewers, especially HD resolution does come in handy compared to the old cable TV channels. Somehow I didn't give it a 5-star it's because the box looks kind of damaged outside. The fact that I want to keep it a collection, which a rough look on the ouside doesn't adore me too much. Well...I guess that's the only flaw I could come up with. Besides that, videos quality and sound look just fine to me.

"Spiderman - The Trilogy and More", This was a great purchase because it not only had the 3 Spiderman movies but 2 extra "Making of..." disks packed with lots of facts and interesting information. A necessity for Spiderman fans.
