"Peggle most fun in PC gaming ever!!!"
Two friends and I were away for a weekend and were looking on line to find a game that would keep our interest for the weekend. (We are all in our upper 40's. So finding computer games that are unique is not the easiest. We found Peggle and all loved it. At this time we have had it for three months and still make time to play a few hours every week. One of the things that we all like about Peggle is it provides an initial training challange that teaches you the game, after completing the training, the challanges are endless including challanging the computer, challanging each other, working towards high scores in all screens, etc. We have also shown the game with family and friends all of who love the game This includes some family members who are in their 70's. Peggle is truly a game that can be enjoyed by all ages!!!

"What a game!"
My laptop came with this game on it, before then i have never heard of it. my 7 year old son started playing it and i saw him from across the room (had no clue it was even on my laptop, i'm not a video game type of girl..UNTIL NOW) i said hey let me see that. i started playing the game at 7:30pm and did not finish until 3am on a school night and i had to be up at 5:30am with the kids to take them to school..this game is very addicting once you get started, and i love the firework effect, they way i celebrated when i hit the last peg you would have thought i was on a game show and won alot of cash and prizes..LoL it is a great game to add to any collection.

"Quite possibly the most addictive game since Tetris..."
Peggle is amazingly addictive, and will suck you in with its simple yet deep gameplay. At first I thought, okay, this is a modern-day remix of Arkanoid/Breakout/Pachinko, but Peggle is perfectly tuned: it makes you feel like a genius when you complete a level, yet is never so frustratingly hard that you quit in disgust. It's fun for 5 minutes or 5 hours, and has amazing, endless replay value. A little masterpiece of game design!

"Oh how I love Peggle, let me count the ways..."
Peggle was one of those games I stumbled across because I was bored and didn't have anything else better to do. Now, I am making time for Peggle and playing it almost every chance I get! You shoot a little tiny bouncy ball into a whole mess of bricks where it bounces all over the place and earns points. The object is to clear out certain ones, and then you can advance to the next level. It sounds so simple but it is so much fun! Just watching that ball bounce and planning your next shot is great, and the graphics and the sounds are very good as well.

Try it out for yourself, and you won't be disappointed!

"Woohoo we all like it, even our 4 yr old!"
Granted, you may only be aiming a litle steel ball....but this game is loads of fun!! From the adults right down to the youngest of our 3 kiddos, we have all had a blast with this game.

What our customer's say!

"Awesome fun", I tried this game as a trial version. I have had so much fun I decided I had to own it. I cant wait to take all of the levels and challenges on.

"Extreme Plinko", This review is for Peggle Deluxe, which is available for Mac OS X -

You remember Plinko, right? Quite possibly the best of the mini-games on The Price Is Right? After guessing the correct price for an Oster blender ($45, not $35!!) and other fabulous prizes in order to win slider tokens, the contestant would get to go carefully drop their sliders down the Plinko board and watch it bounce and ricochet toward a money-lined grave, somewhere at the bottom. My childhood memories of Plinko may be somewhat rose-colored (or else otherwise altered by CocoaPuffs), but Peggle Deluxe captures the same fun that drew me to Plinko in the first place, throws in a flavor of the Japanese parlor game Pachinko and puts it in an addictive, challenging package that anyone can pick up and play in seconds.

The concept to Peggle Deluxe is quite simple - a board of blue and orange pegs is presented, you have to hit all the orange ones, and you've only got ten balls to do it with. The mechanics of the game are simple and addictive - aim a ball toward the pegs, pull the trigger and see what happens. Since most of the levels have more than ten orange pegs, it's going to take some careful aiming and luck to clear a level. But fear not, you can earn free balls in a variety of ways - rack up enough points during a shot, drop the ball into the moving 'free ball' bucket at the bottom, hit one of the two special green pegs in a level. The green pegs can also offer other powers - explosions, fireballs, multiball, pyramids and more, brought to you buy a colorful cast of cartoon characters. Once you're down to the last orange peg, things start to ratchet up-the screen will zoom in and go into slow-motion as the ball nears your remaining quarry, with much celebration ensuing if you manage to knock it off. The 'fever round' starts where the Ode To Joy breaks out, extra points aplenty are earned and things get even crazier on the screen. Right - there is a catchy-enough sound-track with stereo-sound effects which suit the game well. Let me put it this way, finish the first level and you'll not be able to help the broad smile that breaks out as you finish the second and subsequent levels.

Peggle Deluxe runs on any machine running 256MB Ram, OSX 10.4+ and a G4, G5 or Intel processor; it contains more than 125+ bright and colorful levels - some tricky, some easy, all fun. I had to take off 0.000005 points for the fact that Green Apple Games chose to have a box pop up exhorting you to try their other games immediately after opening and quitting the program - not a big thing, but annoying.

That one minor quibble aside, I've nothing but praise for Peggle Deluxe, with its casual, addictive, colorful gameplay that is a great way to kill a few minutes and can easily kill a few hours. A demo is available that is good for an hour of gameplay - be careful, though, it's enough to get you hooked!

"The purple peg! Aim for the puuuuuurple peg!", A combination of Plinko and a Bejeweled-esque game, Peggle is part skill and a lot of luck. I'm not sure about the physics on some of the bounces, but as it often works in my favor, I'm willing to let it slide. Except, of course, when you're playing the computer and it gets all the lucky bounces...

There's a training mode you go through first, which introduces you to all the types of bonus helping bits (for when you hit green pegs) and gives you a feel for the game. Then you move on to the challenges, which range from only slightly harder than the training sessions to virtually impossible. I've not managed to accomplish all of them, but I'm still working on it...

The music is annoyingly catchy, from the background ditty to the triumphant 'Ode de Joy' played when you complete a level. The graphics are simple and very bright, but fit with the feel of the game. The scoring is... complicated and I have no idea how it's done.

If you're a fan of Bejeweled, JewelQuest, Hexic, or the like you will love (and probably get slightly addicted to) Peggle. Highly recommended.

"Surprisingly addictive fun", My wife enjoys bejeweled, book worm et al and so I thought this would make a nice 'stocking filler' for her birthday. Boy, I ended up playing it as much as she does.

The premise is simple; in adventure mode you travel through many varied levels attempting to remove orange pegs by shooting a ball at them. Said ball then proceeds to bounce around hitting everything in sight before it finally succumbs to gravity and falls off the screen and is lost. Once this happens, the pegs that the ball has struck are removed from the level opening up new strategies and pathways. You get ten balls per level plus the opportunity to gain extra balls through bonus score runs and so on.

Whilst the basic concept is simple, the bonuses in the shape of the special green pegs totally transform the strategy - in some levels the ball will split into two (multiball) and others temporarily give you flippers just like pinball and it adds so much to the game. Do you go for the nearby orange peg, the magic green peg or the bonus score purple? Do you shoot to the left or the right? Or straight down?

The presentation is top-notch as you might expect from Pop Cap games. The sounds, visual effects and level design all add up to a much greater experience than I expected reading the premise of the game. And whilst it can be hard to complete some levels, the game has the all-important "just one more go" factor.

And once you've done adventure mode it's not over. You then get scores of challenges to complete, some against the computer, adding longevity to an already large game.

Highly recommended, I'd rate this as high as Bejewled 2 - so if you're a fan of non-violent casual games you can just pick up and play at a whim then you won't be disappointed. Do keep in mind that I'm certain your productivity will decrease by 50% if you play this at work though!

"addictive", As an adult I can tell you this game is fun, simple, harmless and addictive!!

"Addicting fun", This is a casual game that gamers and non-gamers alike will find themselves playing way too much.

"Great Family Game", My 10 year old daughter loves this game. Finally, a game she can play that doesn't have cats, dogs, or horses. She loves the unicorn and the colorful scenes. She is able to play this game alone or with a friend. This game has enough of a challenge to it for the younger ones without being so hard that advancing through the different levels is almost impossible. My 15 year old son likes how the game is played, but he's not impressed with the unicorn theme.

"Pachinko meets Operant Conditioning", It's amusing to see all the ways this game rewards you for doing well. Besides the spectacular display when you win a level you have all sorts of bonus poings for performing impressive feats and when you do something REALLY special a punk beaver pops up and praises you!

As others have noted Peggle is a pachinkoish puzzle game. I appreciate the untimed aspect of the game. If I want to spend 2 or 3 minutes lining up that PERFECT shot, no problem. Or just blaze away quickly and watch the pretty lights!

There's real depth to the game is you want to put the effort into it. Tricky ways to exploit the special powers or just extending a level by playing for free balls.

Just Plain Fun.

"FUN FOR EVERYONE", Love this game, hours of fun for everyone. It seems as though it is made for kids, but it is not. It is challenging and fun. You will enjoy the colorful pics and the background music.

"Ode to Joy", Peggle
Love this game. I am not much of a gamer and after a few minutes of playing this game, I became addicted. I played it straight through in one week and beat the game. Even after that, there are challenge levels to keep you entertained. You can email your best shots to your friends (this is my favorite feature). It's not everyday that you come across a game that is as exhilarating as Ode to Joy.
