"Wonderful"
I bought this for mom Mom who is getting older and from time to time would have difficulty with her T.V. remote. I believe her problem would start when she would go to pick up her remote and accidently push a button that would take the remote off the T.V. mode, to some other mode like the VCR or Cable mode. Then she was unable to get it back to the T.V. And I would get a call to come fix her T.V. This remote has solved the problem. It's easy to set up, only took a minute, easy to use, and I haven't received any more calls. I would recommend this to any one in a similar situation.

"Tek Pal Large Button TV Remote"
I purchased this remote for my mother-in-law who has suffered a stroke. The simple, large buttons for a tv only has been a lot easier for her to handle. I would recommend this remote for any elderly person who only uses a tv because those remotes with the dvd/vcr controls only serve to confuse the elderly user. It has worked well and is easy for her to use. Great product!

"Great for the elderly"
I bought this for my 89 yr old mother. With only 6 large buttons, she is able to control her TV once again. Programming instructions were simple & quick.

Seriously this product is outstanding. I ordered this from Amazon for $22.xx shipped. This remote was for my grandmother who was constantly resetting things on her tv with her remote that I would have to go over there and fix. This remote does more than solve that problem. The six buttons are all she needs. The controller is large and lights up. The thing she was the most excited about was that when the phone rings she can mute the TV (her old remote could do that, I just don't think she knew that). Anyway, for an elderly person this is close to the best 25 bucks you could spend on them. It will no doubt make you life and their life much easier.

"Excellent", I bought this item for my 61 year old parents. Current remotes have so many buttons and they are so small he could never get the channel he wanted or would punch buttons and mess the tv up. They have basic cable so there isnt a hundred channels to flip thru, and with this remote he can either scan the channels or adjust the volume with out accidentally pushing something he shouldnt.



"Remote for poor vision", Great for macular degeneration and other sight impaired folks.
Only thing better would have been black case with white/backlighted
for more contrast.

"Great simple remote", I bought this for my vision impaired Mother. I haven't set it up for her TV yet but I was able to set it up for my TV easily. The really big simple buttons and relative largeness of the remote make it perfect for my Mom.

"simple tv clicker", So easy to set up, so easy to use...the solution for my elderly relatives who get confused by the regular clicker that is too complex. GREAT

"Pleasing Dad", My husband has arthritus in his hands and had a hard time using the buttons on a regular remote, especially the mute button. With this product, problem solved!

"Good, but...", This remote would have been perfect for my elderly mother except for the fact that it does not work with Cable boxes. Luckily, our TV has a built-in cable card and we can get most cable stations by disconnecting the extra box (although now I no longer have any On-Demand or DVR capability). Also, if you have access to many stations it may take a while to navigate up/down to any specific station you're looking for.

"Tek Pal Large Button Remote", I bought this for my 80 year old mother who has macular degeneration resulting in very limited eyesight. She loves this remote because of the six very large buttons that are easy to see and easy to operate. With her other remote, she kept hitting buttons that would change the set-up of her TV resulting in me having to re-do her set-up at least once a month. That won't happen with this remote. This remote is ideal for seniors and people with limited vision who simply want a remote to turn-on their TV and adjust the channels and volume. This product is very simple to program and works on almost all TV sets.
