"Pirates III"
Not the typical ending we have come to expect, but an excellent way to end the trilogy nonetheless...

"Love it!"
Love this series of movies and this one arrived on time and in perfect condition!

"pirates"
it's ok, i mainly bought it to complete the set. it isn't my favorite movie in the set.

"Great HD movie!!!"
A great trilogy to own in HD. If you have a HD TV and a blueray player, buy now.

"Good Buy"
We own the whole collection of Pirates movies. In my opinion the first is the best. This was probaly my least favorite of the series. However it's still a good movie. I highly recommend Blu-Ray instead of DVD. The picture is fantastic, you won't regret it. I noticed someone else said the movie had issues playing on a PS3, that is what we use to pay our movies and we have had no problems.

What our customer's say!

"Raving Fan", The DVD's were in excellent condition and recieved in a timely manner...KUDOS TO THE SELLER!!

"Confused!", Part one just blow me away! Part two had a alright plot/stroy but was more on special affects. Part three started out like you missed the first half of the movie and just gets more confusing as it goes. Their is no real plot/story and the special affects where not that special. This movie just looks like it was left open ended so they can come back and make more too tie up all the loose ends of this movie. Not worth watching until they come out with the other movie(s) to make sense of this mess!

"Wonderful Movie", This was almost as good as the first movie and FAR better than the second. :)

"Pirates of the Caribbean-At World's End", Although it has not been watched yet(it's a Christmas gift), we did recieve it quickly and it was packaged well.

"What a Great Movie!", My girlfriend and I just love this movie (as well as the other two). We never get tired of watching it. There is a good amount of action, as well as lots of comedy also. Johnny Depp is a very good actor, and brings a lot to the movie. I would recommend this to anyone.

"Great Movie, Disappointing DVD", FILM REVIEW (DVD review below):

The "Pirates of the Caribbean" films are achievements in cinema, each grossing huge numbers at the box office (Dead Man's Chest-3rd Highest Grossing Movie ever worldwide) and have a dedicated, loving fanbase. I am a huge Pirates fan and I love the trilogy. Here, we have the 3rd installment, "At World's End", which is a direct sequel to "Dead Man's Chest". In "AWE", Will, Elizabeth, and Barabossa are off to rescue Jack Sparrow from Davy Jones Locker so that they reunite the Brethren Court so that they can finally rid the seas of Davy Jones and Lord Cutler Beckett.

That's the main plot. Here, we find many, many subplots that confuse the audience and demand too much attention, and don't get it. Had questions at the end of "Dead Man's Chest"? Well, you may find yourself with a few at the end of this one.

Pros:
*Great acting from Depp and Rush plus another outstanding performance from Bill Nighy as Davy Jones
*Fun-filled action and the best and most epic ship battle ever on film
*A fun story that engages the audience emotionally
*A fantastic musical score from Hans Zimmer
*Many laughs, chills, and thrills that blow the rest of the movies out of the water
*Plenty of emotion and fun
*Keith Richards

Cons:
*Too many subplots
*Too many new variables (Brethren Court, the Calypso plot, etc)
*The new variables don't get much explaining
*Although a bit much and complex, the plot needs strengthening
*Some cheesy sequences
*It "feels" different than the rest of the trilogy
My rating: 4/5

DVD REVIEW:

This 2-Disc "Limited Edition" offers the main film and a collection of special features. On Disc 1, we have the fantastic movie in 16x9 widescreen with 5.1 surround sound plus the feature "Bloopers of the Caribbean". Disc 2 features the goods. Unfortunately, the special features are in limited supply. Whereas P1 and P2 had hours and hours of bonus features, P3 has about less than 2 hours of bonus features. Most features are less than 10 minutes in length and the longest ("Anatomy of a Scene: The Maelstrom") is only about 20 minutes. Sadly, there is no "Making Of" feature (I guess some of the features from P2 count as P3 too). There's some cool features about the music of Pirates, a video about the "Many Jacks" scene, and some insight into the art and design. That's about it. Very disappointing but still a must buy for Pirates fans. All in all, this DVD set is good for Pirates fans but doesn't deliver like its predecessors.
My rating: 3.5/5

"The curse of the second sequel", Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (2007) should have been titled Being Jack Sparrow, the Lord of the Pirates or the Curse of the second sequel. It was too long, slow, convoluted, and dark, and by dark I mean, visually dark and not interesting. The most beloved character, Jack Sparrow did not show up until the end of the first hour into the movie, and the scene of his first appearance was the best, the funniest, and sadly, the only scene in the movie that I liked. It showed Jack Sparrow trapped on the sea of sand in Davy Jones' Locker as the captain and the multiple members of the crew. The scene brought to memory the famous sequence from Being John Malcovich and it was the highest point of the movie. After that, Jack was moved to the periphery of the plot which was so incoherent that the film creators actually came up with the list of FAQ that baffled moviegoers had about the total mess of the final installment in the pirate trilogy. The list was included with the DVD. The original idea to make a movie based on the popular Walt Disney theme park ride proved to be great for two first movies that are funny and entertaining. The idea to create a philosophical-metaphysical-mythological epilogue to the series in the traditions of Lord of the Rings turned to be disastrous. The movie failed flat in all directions. I was either bored or laughed at the scenes that were not meant to be unintentionally funny. Even appearance of Keith Richards, Johnny Depp's inspiration for the role of Jack Sparrow, as Jack's father did not help much. First two films were exiting, had stunning special effects and awesome achievements in make up. The films breeze freely and move along with great pace. I liked the second movie very much because the way its creators prepared us for the third film was very clever. The final chapter, sadly, was ambitious and ponderous mess.

2.5/5

"Great", I was very happy about this transaction, the movie played fine and was exactly as described when I bought it.

"An eminent clash between Jack and Davie Jones", 1. Culter Becket has decreed a State of Emergency, suspended the right of Habeas Corpus, and Becket orders the pirates to be hung. Becket has gained possession of the heart of Davie Jones. A young pirate starts the song to summon the nine Lord pirates.
2. Captain Barbosa and Elizabeth discover Sao Feng, a pirate Lord, has imprisoned Will, for attempted theft of the "Worlds End" map. Will was caught while attempting a rescue of Jack, who is imprisoned in Davie Jones Locker.
3. Sao Feng is the pirate Lord of South China, Singapore, and owner of the map to "Worlds End", a gateway to Davie Jones Locker, a world beyond this one. Sao Feng honors the call for the brethren to convene.
4. Captain Barbosa uses the black pearl to rescue Jack. Barbosa knows Jack Sparrow is a pirate Lord, one piece of eight, no successor, and must get him back into the land of the living. Mercer is in charge of the British Navy. The East India Trading Company is the front for Will & Feng, black pearl for Jack, and Map to the World End.
5. Mercer works for Becket. The seas are being taken over by Becket. Jack is trapped aboard the pearl. Davie Jones is in Alliance with Becket because Becket has Davie Jones Heart and he does as directed by company. Becket navigates the Flying Dutchman.
6. The pirates want the power of the sea and are hoping Calypso will grant them power. Calypso, Goddess of the sea extends her power into Davie Jones Locker and she helps Jack move the Pearl back to sea. Davie Jones is tasked to ferry the dead to the next world, a curse by Calypso, who was forced to take human form. Every ten years, Davie Jones can come to shore to be with Calypso, the woman, he loves.
7. Elizabeth remorse's her actions, lead to the death of Jack by the Cragun. The Cragun has died, but how? Elizabeth feels a burden to bear and has no choice but to rescue Jack.
8. Elizabeth's father Governor Weatherby has been killed.
9. If you stab the heart of Davie Jones then you must take its place.
10. The Dutchman must have a captain.
11. Jack discovers the meaning of the riddle: up is down, at sundown to get back to the real world.
12. Barbosa and Jack fight over ownership of the Pearl.
13. At Parley, Sa Feng punches Jack, takes ownership of the Pearl, releases Will. Will needs the pearl for his father. Sao Feng double-crosses and joins Becket to defeat the "Flying Dutchman". Feng betrays Will denying him the black pearl and takes Elizabeth. Mercer betrays Sao Feng and take the black pearl. Barbosa tells Sao Feng that they have Calypso, bound in chords, hence the meeting of the brethren. Barbosa tempts them by telling them Calypso is in human form and can unleash the power of the sea.
14. Jack escapes
15. Davie Jones attacks Sao Feng and kill him as a canon ball strikes the side of the ship, but not before Sao Feng makes Elizabeth captain of the South Seas.
16. James rescues Elizabeth. Elizabeth blames Harrington for leading her father to his death and asks him, "which side you chose", James Harrington sides with Elizabeth aiding in her escape. Boot Strap kills Harrington, as the group attempts escape. A trail of bodies is left for Becket to follow, to shipwreck cove, the gather place of the pirate Lords. Becket has the black pearl and Jack knows he will find the cove. Jack tosses Will overboard and he is captured by Becket.
17. Tia Diam is Calypso. The first pirate court imprisoned her. Davie Jones betrayed her and cut out his heart. Will wants the freedom of his father, who is in servitude to Davie Jones.
18. 1 Day at shore equals 10 years at sea. Davie Jones laments Calypso, 10 years at sea, but not there, at reunion. Calypso tells Davie Jones, "I will be free", "I will give you my heart", "If you had a heart", "my heart will always belong to you." Jack does not think Calypso will be merciful.
19. Jack votes for Elizabeth to be Pirate King and she decides to fight Becket.
20. Calypso is released, Davie Jones betrayed, Calypso shatters into millions of crabs, final pirate hope fails, the battle will be fairly fought between Jack and Davie Jones.
21. Barbosa marries Will and Elizabeth during the battle with Davie Jones. Will is fatally injured by Davie Jones, Jack helps Will stab Davie Jones heart, and Will takes his place, looses Elizabeth, save his father, Boot Strap.
22. Elizabeth and Will destroy Becket.
