"Quite an addictive game"
I like the fact that this game in the "daily puzzle" mode does not time bound you more like a sudoku or cross word you solve in a news paper. That means to me its more of a relaxation than a tension intensive game which is something nice in the evenings after a hard days work. That one reason me and my wife play it for hours till late night.
Also the same puzzle can be solved in multiple ways (by the choice of tiles and words), meaning you can play the same puzzle 2-3 times back-2-back and not get bored.
The designers had a causal gamer in mind(for success) and hence the buttons "undo" which is really nice. Allows you to get back to a certain desired point and continue.
The other feature i like is the ability to dig into tiles and that way you have an outlook of whats underneath and how you need to plan for your next 2-3 words.
If you are in an airport(waiting) or in a long flight or waiting for your wife to finish shopping what a cool friend this game is !!
overall an interesting game. Not to much action(can't expect either). The music too is soft especially if you are on the game for 1-2 hrs (doesn't nag your ears).
Definitely would recommend this game.

"Okay game"
I purchased this game because I'm a big fan of crosswords and other word games. While the gameplay is simple to follow, it quickly becomes repetitive. If you don't mind a game that doesn't advance to much more complex levels (essentially solving the same puzzles with different letters on each different game), this is for you.
It's a good game for a casual player, but not for someone who's looking for an in-depth gaming experience.

"Very fun and forgiving"

This game is like Scrabble "lite" meets mahjong "lite", so you can work your brain without beating your brain.

There are three nice single player modes: A "Daily Puzzle" mode, a "Temple Challenge" mode where you attain a higher rank as you complete more puzzles, and a "Battle Mode" which is a turn-based competition on a single board against computer opponents of increasing difficulty.

Another reviewer said that the game supplies a lot of vowels, and this is true, so it's pretty much a given you will be able to clear most of the puzzles if you use your "wild card" tiles wisely.

I don't really think the ease of the game is a limitation, though. I like the ability (in Temple Challenge Mode) to be able to take back my moves, including getting my "wild card" back. This gives me the chance to try different word combinations to successfully complete the puzzle, and that's a good thing. Not too many games give you a second chance like that, so if you "try try again" you won't get frustrated.

Please note that when you use the "wild card" tile, the game doesn't display a list of 26 letters to choose from, it just checks its internal dictionary for a spelling match once you have completed entering the word.
That's a bit different than other electronic Scrabble-type games.

The game seems to have a pretty extensive dictionary, too.

The "fortune cookie" perk in "Temple Challenge Mode" gets a little stale
(ha-ha) too quick. They could have come up with better, less redundant fortunes, but that's a minor quibble.

"Addicting!"
I wasn't sure I'd like this game since, as an approaching 50 year old, I'm new to the whole Nintendo thing. However, I love word games and this is a lot of fun and addicting. The graphics are beautiful. I like that you are able to undo moves if you see that you're not going to be able to clear all of the tiles. It's a great way to unwind.

"Mah Jong + Crosswords + Brain Age"
This is a WONDERFUL game. ANyone who loves words will love this! It's more fun than crosswords, mah jong AND Brain Age all combined!
