"Smarter than a 5th grader dvd", This purchase is for a gift but we do own the dvd game & it's a lot of fun for families of all ages. Great for that family event when everyone wants to play together

"I totally am", I have some fifth graders that live in my cove and they think they are all smart. They ride their bikes through my yards and broke my window with a baseball last summer. I'll yell things at them all of the time when I come outside in my hip waders and fur coat. They think I'm dumb. Well, I taught them a lesson you won't forget. I went and bought this game. When they threw poop at my house, instead of yelling at them, I told them I've got a little game hosted by my good friend Jorff Foxwrothy that I'd like to challenge them to. They came over to my driveway and we played this game. I destroyed them like Chaka Khan owned Mongolian. I knew the answers to at least 23% of the questions. They didn't know anything. Each time they missed one I yelled at them for being stupid and told them they should be in school They said it's Saturday and I did the moonwalk. We played for an hour and I won every game. They still throw poop and food at my house, but at the end of the day we all know who is smarter. Thank you Jorff Foxwortohy!!

"Very Very Challenging", I buy this game for 20 beans and it was so tons of fun. The questions were very hard. I think i not smart cause i couldnt beat my 4 year old son.

"Poorly structured video game", This game has about 30 questions on it. It repeats the same questions everytime you play it, even if you are playing multiple games in a row. I was so excited about buying this game, but severely disappointed in the end. I would never purchase this game again unless it was completely reprogrammed with many more questions.

"Boring, poorly developed game", I am an avid boardgame/interactive game player and even love the show "Are you smarter than a 5th grader?" --- This game is just very poorly designed and will be returned after only playing once.

Most of the time is spent loading the DVD which is done before and after every question, category selection, answer judging, etc. It even loads to ask whether you said "I'm not smarter than a 5th grader" --- Otherwise you don't get your "winnings".

There are 20 pre-programmed games you can load with same questions and categories.

This game is absolutely lame and I am VERY disappointed.

"Great DVD Game", I purchased this DVD for my husband for Christmas because he loves the TV show. We have been playing it almost every night. It is just like the TV show.....fast, fun, with questions of just the right difficulty for each grade level. Actually the million dollar question has been the hardest....and has caused me to lose quite a few times. But that makes it more real. Of course, with all these games the host repeats a lot of his phrases but I love this game; great bang for the buck!

"We are NOT smarter than a 5th grader!", This game is entertaining and educational for the whole family. We played it on Christmas day with kids,parents, grandparents and great grand parents and had a great time. We had two 5th graders playing with us and found they knew most of the answers! It was also a good way to praise our children for being so smart. I hope there are more sequels coming, I will buy all of them.

"Smarter Packaging would be appreciated ...", We love this show! My son had to have this game from Santa. It's pretty cute and we played it a little on Christmas Day, although none since. My only gripe comes with the packaging since it's wrapped like a board game, you expect other things to be included ... but it's just a DVD, and the entire box gets thrown away. Just what the environment needs -- more waste from over-zealous manufacturers.



"Great fun", This game is alot of fun for teens and adults. Great to sit around and play on New Years. Only drawback is that eventually you games and questions will repeat. I know one grandmother that says her grandkids think she is a genius because she always picks game 17 so she has memorized the answers. This is why I rated it a little lower for durability. There is still a ton of fun to be experienced.

"are you smarter than a fifth grader dvd game", This game is fun and educational for the family but the dvd seems to have a lot of parts that slow the game down. It would be much better if you could skip a lot of the talking parts. But we do enjoy the questions and winning the money.
