"Great controller", Great controller for almost all game types, especially shooters. I knock one star off because the d-pad is not very accurate, thus this controller is not good for fighting and classic arcade games. Other than that, it's very comfortable and has a nice feel to it even after extended gaming sessions.

"Amazing Blue", Buy this controller now. Trust me. The blue color looks great. Forget the other colors they sell. Get blue. You'll be glad you did.

"White recharge battery won't work in blue control!!", Just a heads up for those of you who are buying the blue control (or any colored controller). The other rechargeable white batteries that came in your original control won't work. It doesn't recognize it. Now I have to buy a blue rechargeable battery pack. It's a great control and would have been nice to know about the non compatibility issue. Thats why I knocked a star off.

"Perfect", The most comfortable and ergonomic controller I have ever used. Looks cool, lightweight, but doesn't feel hollow. Battery lasts long. The best gaming controller out there.

"Good controller", Love the black controllers over the old white design. Batteries are the correct size and won't cause the controller to develop cracks where the battery is inserted. Smooth operation.
Overall, this controller is basically all the same as the white, but the batteries fitting correctly will make it last alot longer

"Great Product", This is the best controller that I have ever bought. I have owned all current as well as past game consoles, and must say that this is the most comfortable, functional, lightweight, and best designed controller that I have ever fit into my hands. I highly recommend this product to anyone and everyone that plays the Xbox 360.

"Works perfectly.", Original xbox controller that works like it should. No problems with this controller. it automatically turns off when you don't use it for awhile to save batteries. Reconnect is quick and hassle free. Good controller.

"Awesome Controller", This controller is awesome if you don't want to be tangled up in wires. The range is great, I usually play from about 12 feet away from the system, and it'll work perfectly from anywhere in the room; you don't need to have a direct line of sight to your XBox. Power consumption is very good also, I've used the controller for at least 2 weeks straight without having to recharge the battery pack (sold separately). I almost finished Lost Planet before having to recharge.

"Just, Keep Your Receipt...", I only really gave this three stars so that it'll catch some attention.

I really like the new Xbox controllers - they fit real nice and are comfortable even for many, many... ...many hours of gaming.

But I've had a bunch of issues with consistency. I now own 3 xbox 360 controllers. The one that game with the console worked fine for about 4 months, and now the left stick "wanders" - that is, if you let go of the stick, it continue reading forward motion. This causes characters to keep walking, cars to keep driving, and any kind of flying craft to nose dive. It has gotten to the point that I can't use the controller anymore. Some people claim that controllers just "do this" after extended use, but 4 months isn't a lot of time, especially when I swapped usage between this controller and the second that I bought separately with the console.

The second controller had a spring issue right out of the box - the "up" direction on the D-pad (the lower-left gray '+' button) had very little spring resistance. I always have to press up more deliberately than the other directions, and in face-paced games it can mean the difference between life and death if the button doesn't register. I can still use the controller, but I choose it for slower games like golf. I thought it would work itself out which is why I never returned it - my fault.

I recently bought one of the blue controllers (big PennState fan here) and it too has a slightly reduced spring feel to the up-D-pad button, but it's barely noticeable, and does not affect game play.

I'll keep my receipts in a safe place from here out, but otherwise, these controllers have good battery life and remain comfortable. They're also nice and heavy which makes them feel sturdy and reliable. Let's just hope that the later remains true.

"Great Quality - Long Lasting ", After much careful thought and research, we decided to go wireless with our Xbox 360. What an awesome decision that was! I waited on a review to make sure that the wireless controllers all functioned properly, held their charge and could be played at all angles/distances up to 30ft from the TV and then some. To be on the safe side, I ordered one charge and play just in case one of the controllers went out during play. To date, it has not been needed. The controllers hold their charge just fine for all our gamers - and they tend to play up to 6 hours at a time. As to the quality of the controllers ... one was subjected to an English Springer Spaniel trying to use it as a chew toy and survived. Another was dropped on ceramic tile- when one player threw a fit- and showed no signs of damage. All 4 are still going strong months after use. I would definitely recommend going wireless for all families - especially if you have pets or young children running around that can trip on the cords. It's great for storing neatly away and not having to worry about cords being wrapped too tightly or getting tangled up. Amazon did have the best price at our time of purchase. I'm sure it's still the best deal now.
