"fantasic", This product is fantastic and will save you lots of money on the actual Wii version

"Adding to the game", These products may help visualize the game you are playing but they are not the substitute for the actual device. They may be OK for the price but they are not a necessity to enjoy the game.

"Grand Slam Sports Pack", These are definitely not needed to play each game, just a nice enhancement. Everything worked great.

"Did not meet expectations", We have a familty who loves to play Wii but was disappointed in some of the sports gear. It is very difficult to use the golf club thus we don't use that one ever. The steering wheel is great fun, especially for the kids as they feel like they are really driving. I could go either way on the tennis racket. Overall, I think the sports gear is really not a necessary accessory to the Wii gaming system.

"nice realistic accessories", We had a lot of fun with these accessories that, not only give you the true impression of playing tennis for example, but also make you look a little bit less ridiculous for the ones watching you play in your living room! hihi

"Game helpers", The kids liked what they could use on Christmas. We didn't know you needed battiers for part of it to work. The adults liked using the regular remotes instead.

"Skip this one", My daughter played with it the first day and three parts broke. After a moderate swing the battery compartment on the tennis racket broke. The golf head broke off after a very slight contact with something. My daughter was playing with a broken golf club and it broke again. There is also not enough room for the wii strap to fit through the back. Avoid this one and buy the Nerf instead. We got two and love them.

"A Waste", Bought this mainly for the wheel to use with Mario Cart. Total waste of money. You have to take the wrist strap off the controller in order to insert the controller into the wheel. The controller doesn't lock into the wheel very well. The "B" button on the controller is hard to access when inserted in the wheel. Doesn't have an infrared pass through port in the wheel so you can't make on screen selections with the controller in the wheel. Don't waste you time or money on this one!

"Wii is FUN", My husband and I bought a Wii as a joint anniversary gift. I said no jewelry this year, lets get something we can do together. I checked out the prices for the same product in the store when we bought the Wii and decided to wait due to the cost. Then I was curious if Amazon had any and what their prices were. Half the cost!! I only bought one set but planning on another purchase so we both have our own instead of switching when its the next player. It is so much fun and easy to use.

"Fun but not required", First of all, I LOVE the Wii. I am not a "gamer" in any sense of the word, but I do like to have fun, and that's what the Wii provides. We thought the sports pack would be a fun addition. When we first opened the package and saw the flimsy little golf club, we kind of laughed it off as a waste of money, but we do use them. It's a cute way to have even more fun with the game. Some of the reviews on here are just too serious!
There have been some comments about the sensor being blocked when the remote is attached to the golf club, bat, and tennis racket. That's true, you can't use it to make selections on the screen, but it works fine for playing the game.
If you have a little extra cash, get the sports pack!
