"Perfect", Installation was flawless and took five minutes at the most. (And most of those five minutes was spent unpacking the units from the box.) This is another great product from SlingMedia.

"Are you kidding me?!", I had my Slingbox classic sitting in a box in my closet after my move from my last house 2 years ago. I remembered having to drill holes in the walls to make my router connect to my slingbox via CAT5 cables. I remembered it was great to be able to watch live TV (I.E. CNN) while paying bills on my PC (you can have a little TV in the corner of your monitor while on the net). When I saw this product I thought it couldn't possibly be this easy to set up. Well everyone...it really is that easy. You connect one Slinglink into your router, the other Slinglink into your Slingbox, and you are done. I installed the newest Slingbox software from Slingmedia.com and Viola! I was done. There is no shutter of the TV image at all even though the software is loaded on a wireless PC. I couldn't be happier with this product. Highly recommended.

"A few caveats", Firstoff, I would say this device does what it is supposed to. Having used several powerline products like this, I will say that this one performs about as well as competing units. That said, there are few caveats I would point out. First, you're only going to get acceptable throughput when both sides of the link are on the same household circuit. This is especially true with older homes who may have gone through electrical upgrades (like mine). Also, your throughput will suffer when you use other electrical devices on the circuit. For example, my video gets choppy whenever someone turns on/off the bathroom light which is adjacent to the bedroom where I have this unit located. For basic internet usage this is not a big deal, but if you're streaming video to a media center like I am, it is somewhat of an annoyance.

"Works as advertised.", Works just like advertised. It took about 5 minutes to set up (the biggest challenge was finding a free electrical outlet near my computers/network devices.)

I haven't run an official speed test, but my connection on my second desktop computer (on a different floor in my home and presumably on a different electrical circuit) is much faster than the previous wireless G connection I was using.

Highly recommended.

"works as promised", I bought the slingbox, forgetting that that my linksys was clear across the other side of the house. I bought this but really did not think it would work. I was very wrong. Set-up: about 5 minutes (that includes opening the box :)) I went to a friends house just to check the signal and the bridge and slingbox worked great!!! Well worth the money spent!!

"problem solver", Easy to follow instructions, came as described, did exactly what it was supposed to do (allowed us to use the slingbox in a room without internet connection).

"It just works", I purchased this product for use with my satelite receiver. I don't have a land line phone but istead use broadband VOIP. The dish company charges every month if the receiver is not connected to phone line or broadband. This thing simply works. Connect 1 of them to your broadband router and then connect the other to your receiver. Don't forget to plug it in. It's really that simple, and It works. Very happy with this product.

"Wonderful!", Does exactly what they say it does. Simply plugged one into my slingbox and the other into my router in another room and was up and running in minutes. It performs just as if it was plugged directly into my router. Wonderful product and highly recommended!

"Awesome product", At first, I was concerned because this item has to plug into the outlets on the wall and if the conduits are not working together inside the wall then you have to find another way to bridge the router to your media center in another room. Fortunately, the wireless router and turbo ports communicated. Had to go from room to room to set up equipment and software. Would recommend this item for people who do not want a TV in other rooms with all the cables and wires.
If you get blinking lights on the turbolink's reset the main box give it a few minutes don't give up.

"Does (mostly) what it claims to do", This thing couldn't be easier to get up and running - truly plug & play. Don't plug it in next to anything with a dimmer on it though! It caused my touch-sensitive dimming light fixture to fluctuate wildly between off, low, medium and high whenever the Slinglink was sending data. Quite a light show! Moving it to a different plug worked. A little disappointed at the throughput - I'm getting about 9-11 Mbps (enough for video streaming though).
