"So much fun!", I bought this for Christmas for my 9-year old. He absolutely loves it! We didn't find it hard to erase - just had to keep getting fresh wet papertowels, but he was able to erase on his own. He had fun making his own drawings and also tracing the "animated" sample drawing that came with this. We went to the Crayola website and printed off another 20 or so of these "animated" drawings and he has been having fun with them since. I have had fun playing around with it also, and Riley made a "Get Well" sign for his dad last week when he got sick. I would definitely recommend this - maybe it's better for slightly older kids to get the full benefit.

"KIDS LOVE IT, WHY NITPICK AT THE SMALL DETAILS?", My daughter received this toy as a gift and though she had many nice gifts, this one made her day. She plays with it constantly! It is great for creativity and shows in 3D like effect how flip pages work...like for making cartoons. Very cool! The markers have not dried out, at least not yet and though the screen doesn't clean perfectly with a simple swipe of a damp cloth...she hasn't cared in the least. I notice by the reviews that kids adore this toy, as does my daughter, but parents are focusing on little details. I think it is more important that this has creative value and keeps the kids busy! I give it 5 stars for that... I have purchased dozens of "quality" toys that just don't seem to keep the attention of kids like this one has.

"Lots of fun", The toy is fun to have and We use it to send messages when we're gonna miss each other, but I was a little disappointed at how easily the boards scratch. Once scratched the lines show up through the lights. But if you can keep it from being scratched it is neat to watch the kids leave msgs. for each other and it also makes a neat and personal nightlight, but we shut it off after she falls asleep.

"Fun in the car for the kids.", I purchased two for my daughter and son. They have a great time with this toy at night. When we ride in the car thats the first thing they grab. The mfg should make the stand more stable than it is.
Amazon needs to use more packing pillows to prevent damage.

"Not even half as cool as the commercial", My son got this for Christmas and though the neon lights and glowing are neat, we still have no clue how to use it. I read the directions multiple times but they aren't clear enough and make no sense to me. If we could figure it out it might be fun, but I have coloring books that are easier to use if its just going to be a coloring board... a hard to erase coloring board. Bottom line: The commercial makes this toy look awesome and in reality it will just sit on a shelf, a complete waste of money... but whats new with toys today. My stars would have all been 2's but it wouldn't let me change what I accidentally clicked...

"Needs a bit of work, but is neat", I just want to agree with a few others regarding this toy. First it is a pain to clean over and over withouth causing damage. The markers dry out faster than you can get the cap back on. The back plastic screen took so much wrangling to even get it to work was a nightmare. It did not line up correctly. I had an easier time putting together A thomas the train canyon railroad with bridges and waterfalls. lol.. had to really jam it in the slot. forget about really leaving it on for display as it doesn't glow much anywhere except for in the dark. So leave it on at night? Well then the batteries run down too quickly. A horse a piece I guess

The good, my mother got each of my children one as they both wanted it. My son is 3 and daughter is 6. They both really do like the color effect in the dark. As of right now they are both ill and it has really held their attention and kept them settled down. (printed new designs at webiste) My daughter wants to keep it turned on outside her room at night so i have to sneak and turn it off.

Very good concept, a few improvements could be made to the durability, structure, and life of the markers.

"A big disappointment", The Crayola color explosion glowboard seemed to have potential and for 15 minutes, my granddaughter enjoyed playing it with her mother's direction and supervision. We were surprised when it quit working the very evening she opened it and decided the batteries were old. Upon replacing the batteries with new ones, it was still non-functional. I'm really sorry I ordered this for our granddaughter's Christmas.

"Cool toy!", This board has given the kids lots of fun times. They leave me flashing signs when they go to sleep, they leave messages to each other, they take it in the van and write Merry Christmas on it to show the other cars! I like this item and the only catch with it is the markers ran out and I had to purchase extra markers at Crayola.com. Wal-Mart stopped carrying the extra markers. They were a little pricey, but worth it to keep using the item. The one I ordered this year is for my niece and we have had ours since last Xmas. It has been played with to the fullest. I would definitely purchase again!

"20 buks 2 weeks ago", My granddaughter age five wanted this for the celebration of our lords birth, I being a retired Firefighter on a fixed low income have watched the price of this toy skyrocket. Three weeks ago Amazon had it for [...], now its [...] and wait till the 26th & it will be [...], Amazon is getting to much like Mall-Wart. Hey Amazon We Are Not Stupid!

"Not at this price!", I cannot believe what this seller is asking for this toy...[...]?!? I just paid [...] for this at Wal-mart not even two weeks ago. We gave it to my son for his 6th b-day. He and my daughter (who is 11) really enjoy it. She loves to draw, so it works well with her imaginative side. He is learning to write words and is having fun writing lil messages for different ppl in the family. There is one removable drawing board which is easy to clean if you just put it under the sink and wash. The other is not so easy. We just use wet napkins and wash and dry. So far, so good.
