"My favorite wii game"

.
Hands down, my favorite wii game, and we have 15+ titles. The Williams Challenge is awesome, just wished you could reorder the machines though...I've played Gorgar and Taxi more than all the others. If you like pinball, look no farther. If you don't like pinball, I'd say don't get it...

"Good physics"
very playable game realistic control wii controller makes it nice
camera angles are ok average for console again very playable

"One of the best games ever (if you like pinball)"
When I initially got the game I played it for hours, it's addictive! The game has two pinball machines from the 1970's; six machines from the 80's and two from the 90's. Just like the real thing you can TILT the machine if you bump it too hard. The flippers don't have lag like in some well worn machines. The plunger replicates the real thing through the nunchuck thumb control. At first some of the tables graphics are so colorful you could lose track of the ball. It takes some getting used too; once you have the sky's the limit on scoring. I really enjoy this game. If you are a die-hard pinballer you wont be disappointed...well that is...if you don't mind that you do not have to put quarters into the machine. My hat's off to Crave Entertainment, Williams and to Amazon (for having the game in stock). For how great this Wii game is I wish there was a way to get more 1970's machines, dating myself...the decade I grew up spending hours in the arcade. The older machines just have that much more nostalgia without the LED display's. But, I know that you can't please everyone; Murphy's Law. I can live with this; Great Game!

"Great item!"
I gave this game to my son for Christmas and he has really enjoyed it. My husband also loves to play it and remembers some of the games from when he was a young boy!

"My wife says "Pinball...It's awsome!" "
I'm a guy born in the early 70s and spent some time with my brothers and friends down the road at the local convinience store "Mike's Variety". The owner must have loved pinball because he had about 10 if I recall. I got to play dime and quarter pinball there. As I grew older and played more 80's video games " Aladins Castle Arcade" durring thier hey-day I still always loved pinball. Pinball made a great big comeback in the 90's "3 games for a dolla' days" and as you can see it was always around in some arcade or bowling center for me to play a game or 10 whenever I wanted or needed. Well the 2000s roll in and, living in Maine, pinball is nearly extinct around here. My wife ordered this for me because I miss pinball. I remembered playing all but Jive Time in the Williams colection and these are as near to the real thing as you can/will get anywhere without buying a full blown table. My wife played with me at first to spend time on a game together and now has logged more hours than me. She had maybe played a few time when she was younger but now fully realizes how fun pinball is. This game inspired us to drive 3 hours to Funspot NH in November to see and play real pinball again. She got to play her favorite "Pinbot". We love the goals each table has and the Wizard modes. We have completed most but we will never stop playing untill the Wii is dead. This is a must have for any system. The small price provides more bang for the buck then I have ever seen. Men... even your wife/girlfriend will play with you. We would have payed $50 and been completely satisfied!
Buy some Pinball books too... Great history

What our customer's say!

"Pinball at its best", Great game-especially given the low price. Really simulates pinball --even allows you to shake the machine. Really happy with the purchase.

"graphics and the camera angles could be better", game play is great the different machines are great. I wish I could see the tables a little more clearly. With some tables there is alot going on with colors, bumpers and flashing lights and it can be a little confusing to see what or where to go with the ball.

I paid $15 and it is one of my favorite games to go back and play, so overall its a great deal.

"Awesome replicas of original classic games", If you liked playing pinball in the 1970's to 1990's you'll love this game. I have not yet seen a better implementation of pinball on the video screen. The whole family loves it.

I can remember trying games on the PC years ago and trying to use the keyboard to control the flippers. Not the same.

The wii controllers are excellent. The nudging of the controllers to nudge the machine is very realistic.

The sounds and graphics are great. I am using the component video cable and an HDTV. Very good graphics. You can even see the faint reflection of the backglass on the playfield. The scrolling is excellent just as your eye would follow the ball around the playfield. There is a slight problem is during multiball as the scrolling ends. but that is a problem in realife when you are trying to keep your eye on multiple play levels.

The movement of the ball is obviously guided by physics formulas with gravity ,elevation of playfield, friction and such.

This will be the best 2 rolls of quarters you ever spent on pinball.

Way to go Crave Entertainment!

"Fun game but graphics are horrible", While the collection of games is good and the gameplay is amazingly realistic (the physics), the graphics are not up to the standard of the tables or the games. The graphics are fuzzy (yes, I do have the best cables and a large HD display) and, as a result, it is often difficult to know where the ball is going and, more importantly, just what is there to shoot at (unless you already know the tables intimately from your past life). Also, annoyingly, the view often zooms in on the upper part of the table while the ball is in play up there and then does not react quickly enough, zooming back, for you to know where the ball is coming relative to your flippers. Overall the gameplay is addictive and fun, but the graphics are enough of a bummer to take away from the experience. If they had a version with better definition graphics, this would certainly be a winner for me. As it is, I have fun playing but wonder how much better it would be if I could actually see what I was doing. Imagine wearing "beer goggles" while trying to play and you get the idea.

"Amazing!", My 60+ year old father and I can not stop playing this game. We have had our wii console for over a year now and this is the first game he has showed an actual interest in.

I highly recommend this game for Wii players of ALL ages!

Read this reviews before You buy...

"Like the real Tihings", As always, I read reviews on products before I buy them. And being a pinball and Wii person, I checked out The Williams Pinball Collection. In a word, awesome. I've played all these games and I own a Gorgar machine. The video game sounds and plays like the real games. My only complaint is the camera panning from the top portion of the game, to the bottom portion. Sometimes the "ball" moves down the game faster than the camera moves and it makes flipper reaction a hair slower than playing a real game. Other than that, it's a great game. My friend restores games and he has a basement full of them. If my house was bigger, so would I. This game helps fill the void.

"When you need a break from shooting zombies...", Let it be known that pinball is about the only arcade game I like to play when out and about at the arcade or the mall. And being such a avid player, I was a little leary about how satisfying playing pinball on a Wii would be.

It is a blast. Everything from launching the ball with varying force, shaking (and tilting) the table and realistic flipper response depending on the table is part of the experience. The manner in which you view the table during play is also very cool. The screen shot moves how your eyes would in a real setting making the play exciting and realistic. The selection of tables available is a best of the best from 1970 to 1990.

When you need a break from shooting zombies in Resident Evil or trying to get past a boss in Zelda, this game is it. It is also alot of fun with company over because you don't have to be a video game pro or possess superior controller skills to have a blast.

"Just look at the reviews here already", The best $20 I've ever spent. Pinball at it's best. Sometimes even better than the real thing. I have a friend who actually owns "Whirlwind" and it's more fun on the Wii. Would be nice to have more unlockables or ways to get past the really hard goals, but this is as close to perfect as you can get.

If I could only have one game, I'd buy the console just for this game. You can even nudge the machine and tilt. The only problem is it's ruining my relationship because I spend so much time playing.

Get it! You won't be disappointed.

"We're all Pinball Wizards!", I got this as a lightning deal a couple of months ago. I was hoping for a good game, something the whole family could play together. What I received was a great game, and something that brings generations together!

My spouse, who generally does not play video games, became hooked immediately. My 6-yo daughter likewise loves to play this game, in between bouts of GHIII though. We went on vacation where grandparents and great aunts and uncles were around the whole week. We brought the Wii with this game and several others. We went out for mini-golf one evening, and came back and all of the 50-somethings were playing this game and laughing. With so many good games, they remember playing several of them (like Taxi) in their younger years. Heck, I even remember Pinbot from NES.

The controls are very intuitive, graphics are big, and really look realistic. But the best is the physics of the pinball itself. Yes, there are a couple of places where the ball may jump, but for 99.99% of the game, the ball behaves just as it would were we at an arcade (or old time pizza joint). I am looking at organizing a pinball party for my family, hopefully soon. I wholeheartedly recommend this game!

"Pinball For Dummies", When it has honestly came down to it, there really isn't a whole lot for nostalgic buffs out there. While there honestly are a whole lot fewer classic arcade classics that can honestly get your mind blown away, none of them are as much sure fire gambles than the heat of pinball. For that has shown well for Williams, who has made sure-shot dominant pinball games that really have been classics for over 4 decades strong. But, with so many people not interested in having fun at carnivals and the disseapearance of theme parks like Coney Island which had shut its doors down earlier this year, many wonder if there is possibly a way those classics from the comfort of their home. Well, that is true for the Nintendo Wii.

Pinball Hall Of Fame; The Williams Collection for the Nintendo Wii, brings in the wild and outrageous gameplay of the classics from Williams exciting and action-packed pinball library of the 70's, 80's and 90's. This series really takes me back to the days when I went mind-blowning wild over the most challenging games at the arcades. There are 10 classics that really test your pulses and reflexes on what classic gameplay is like. There are classics are sure to you back to memory lane like Funhouse, where you make your way through a wacky carnival, battling your way to the top and dealing with a egotistical side-show barker named Rudy, who doesn't want you medeling with his fun, and the classic Taxi, where you'd have to commute your way through the city picking up passengers from Pinups, and even Santa Claus, all the way to joyrides and airport terminals, collecting oints for extra cabfare, all the classics like Whirlwind and one of their first games, Jive Time. The graphics are absolutely stunning, and bring back the feeling of classic gameplay for gamers of all ages. The control is very simple to pick up for anyone young and old, and the sights and the sounds of the game really take you back in time well.

All in all, while there are very few games that really are that are inexpensive for the Nintendo Wii that are actually worth it, and Pinball Hall of fame: The Williams Collection is worth it at that price. My only gripe is that I wish there could've been a few other greats here like High Speed and its sequel The Getaway: High Speed 2 on the game, but overall, it definitely is a bumping, pinball-flipping great time.

Graphics: B+

Sound: A-

Control: A-

Fun & Enjoyment: B 1/2- for solo players; B for multiplayer

Overall: B+
