"Tascam 2488-MKII", I love this thing. I jam with some friends every weekend, and it's been very easy to learn to use. Great sound quality. I don't use any of the sounds it comes with, but I do love the ease of digital multi tracking and burning it right on to a cd. I've tried others and just didn't get along with them, so to speak. I am biased toward Tascam, I've always preferred their recording equipment. I only give 4 stars because I know there are plenty of extras on this I don't use, so I'm really not qualified to give it 5.
