"Works great for the Centro!"
I bought this for my Palm Centro and so far have had no problems. I've had this card for several months, and it works as expected.

"Awesome"
I bought these and they work perfect with my Nikon D80. I have never formatted them once and they work fine. I know photographers format all cards all the time before shoots, but I never have once and these are still going good. Never had one problem with them at all.

"Lightning Fast"
I bought this card for my G9 and I am very impressed by what this little card can do.

The only other card I've used is the 8GB Extreme III, so I can't really say how much faster it is from other types, but I love the amount of storage and I found that burst mode was very effective with this card.

"Another SD format and one of the fastest"
SanDisk has so many versions out there, it is kind of confusing. This is a different Ultra II then the 2GB that were sold last year. This 4GB Ultra II is "SDHC" (Secure Digital High Capacity), which the 2GB was just an SD card. Regular SC cards are more compatible with most digital cameras and memory card readers. "SDHC" card are for the latest cameras and most DSLR, which can be read/write on SDHC card reader only or just the latest card reader.

Compatibility:
This does work fine with my DSLR Nikon D40. I could not get this new SDHC card to read on my 6 month old card Sony's Card reader nor my 2.5 years old Canon PowerShot SD400. But if you use the USB SDHC reader it worked fine and faster.

Performance
Maybe I got an OEM version, but it said it is a class 4 and 15mb/s. I ignore whatever speed SanDisk write, since I never get that performance. My old 2GB Ultra II said 10mb read/9mb write, but I only got like 6.5mb read/ 5mb write. This 4GB said 15mb, but I only get an average of 8mb read (copy) it peaked at 9mb once and is 6-7mb write. A class 4 has minimum of 4mb of write speed, which is true, this is more in line with a class 6. These information is shown on Window's Vista detail pop-up screen when you are copying or writing files.

Overall it is a great price and is one of the fastest performance I got from an SD card. I just had to upgrade for a SDHC card reader.

This memory card is great. It holds thousands and thousands of pictures on high quality settings which is great for me so I don't have to keep uploading pictures every few hours.

"Beware of older memory card readers when using "HC" cards...", I love the SanDisk Ultra II series if media, however, if you've been using older generation memory card readers then you should know that these newer SD-HC format (secure digital high capacity) memory cards probably won't work in your older memory card reader. It is the "HC" format that causes the problem. I've only encountered this problem with SD cards starting at 4 GB and larger. The 2 GB and smaller cards aren't "HC" and thus still work fine in older card readers. Other media like compact flash, memory stick, etc. also still seem to work OK with older readers at all sizes.

A new card reader could set you back nearly thirty bucks so think carefully before buying SD-HC media.

"Nice", I bought this used, via Amazon, but it is like brand new. It looks almost the same as the Amazon picture, but also shows that it is a Class 4 card on the sticker/label and also says "15 MB/s". It works fine in my digital camcorder. I don't have any reference to compare it to, but I think it transfers files to/from my computer quite fast.

"Good Fast card", Sandisk Ultra II is really a fast card. I was able to create more than 30 mins of video without a halt using my digicam and this card.
Definitely a great buy. Would recommend to anyone.



"SD Card", A very fast card, works great with my camera. The price was the best for this one. But I am sure the price's and size will get better every day too.

"Great price... Oh wait, they're gonna charge a boat load for shipping.", I just got the two cards I ordered. I hope they work right. The low price for these cards were negated by the fact they charged me $12 for a 50 cent container sent 1st class mail. Are you kidding me?

Read this reviews before You buy...

"Not a genuine ULTRA II Sandisk card", Have been using this card for two months, it works well, no errors, no lost files, etc.

However, the advertised speed for SD Ultra II series is around 10MB/s reading and 9MB/s writing. This card does not go over 2.85 MB/s in either case. Additionally, it doesn't look like SD Ultra II 4GB shown on Sandisk.com.

At this price, I guess it is not a bad deal, however, it is as slow as my old 2GB No-name SD card.

"Its better than Extreme 3", I was trying to buy a 4gb Extreme 3 but i couldnt find one I already have 2 Extreme 3 each 2gb. This one gives me alot of space for my nikon D80's RAW pictures and i have had no problem with speed or any thing else since i had it . where as Extreme 3 is giving me alot of problems in transfering pictures from SD to my hard drive and i have called Sandisk 2 times as they say Extreme 3 has a life time warrenty but nothing has been done so far. Extereme 2 is the best deal if you want to have a problem free digital photography . The price is really good.

"A steal at these prices!", However, if you're buying for a digital camera, or rather an older digital, make sure it can support more than 2.0gb...woops!

"great", great card by sandisk. Fast enough to record 32 FPS 640x 480 video as well.

"Simply said - it works and it's a great bang for your buck!", I got the card from Amazon, actually from one of the guys that sell thru Amazon. It came in time, well wrapped. I was happy!

Stuck it in my Canon camera - it worked great! A lot of room, super fast.

Stuck it in my computer's media card reader - nothing! Used my old card reader - nothing!

I guess this is the price for getting the new tech stuff - it doesn't always work with your old equipment. Oh, well... I went out to Radioshack and bought a ten bucks card reader for the new era SDHC cards. Now I am officially in and cool!

So, the bottom line is that if you want to use this card in older equpment, such as card readers, cameras and laptops - you might want to use smaller cards of the older kind.

Since I was ready to sacrifice for having a large card - five stars for the product. It does what it promises, no problems as of now.
