"Best game for a fun work-out.", I love the work-out I get from this game. There is an actual work-out function in which you can input your stats and choose how many calories you want to burn. Then all you have to do is dance, dance and it will tell you when you accomplish your goal. I don't even realize I'm working out, it's just fun dancing to good music. My only complaint would be that there are only so many songs, and as of now, it's not possible to download more.

"Great exercise", If your kids are getting fat because of too much time to be bored and to eat, give them this game. Now they are having fun while make exercises, now they are in shape. The best decision I ever take.

"DDR for th kids",

The product is a bit hard for the kids to use. They are 12 and 8. Once they figure it out, it seems to be fun, but they don't use it as much as anticipated. Adults seemed to be having more fun and looking sillier than the kids.

"Great game!", I wasn't sure what too expect with this game, but it is a great deal of fun particularly when you play with another person. If I was only playing by myself, the game would quickly lose its appeal. So, if purchasing this game, order a second dance pad. It's well worth the few additional $$$.

"Too Americanized", This DDR has pretty much all American mainstream music, I was looking forward to at least a few Japanese or Europop music. The slow remixes of R&B or 80s songs doesn't make it feel like DDR.

I didn't like the wiimote or the gimmicks, so I turned them off in the songlist options. It is just not DDR for me and is a distraction.

I didn't buy this just for the game though, I plan to use the dance pad to play stepmania with my laptop so that I can download whatever songs I want.

"Fun for adults...too! Great Exercise!", I am a mother of 5 and I bought this game for myself, mostly for exercise. I am plus size and this is perfect for me. It counts calories in the workout dance mode, there are challenges, and most of the music is older from the 90s so I know most of it. It is so fun, I can burn 500 calories in 1 hour on beginner/basic mode. Kids also love it, but I use it more than they do.

"Get's you off the couch!", I purchased DDR for my grandchildren. They love their Wii and really enjoy the games they can play. DDR takes it up a level. It gets them off the couch and moving, dancing their hearts out. It is aerobic, it helps develop coordination and concentration. They must concentrate and learn the dance steps so they can move through the levels of expertise. They have quite a competition to see who can move up and become a better dancer. Well worth the $$.

"What's not to like?", So far this looks like quite a winner. We also bought a second mat, so two of them dance at once. The second mat is highly recommended to make this a more social exercise. It doesn't really resemble dancing, but at least it provides a bit of exercise trying to keep up.

"Lots of fun", This is the first DDR game that I have purchased. My husband and I have lots of fun playing, we are both novices. We ended up purchasing a second mat so that we could play together. The mat selection seems to be limited and not nearly as many choices as with the PS2. The hand motions give the game an added challenge. I like the workout mode where you can set the number calories you want to burn and they game keeps giving you new songs until your reach your target number. It does pause after each song to give you a score but you can jump right through that by pressing the A button.

Overall it's a great interactive game where you can burn some calories.



"Good workout, but everything else could be better", I bought this the other week and finally used it for the first time last night. First of all, the mat says not to wear shoes or socks on it- I disagree. Wear socks. Otherwise, the mat will stick to your feet and make it harder to hit the right arrow at the right time, because your foot is stuck to the last arrow you stepped on! Socks are good.

Otherwise, the game itself... It's still a really good workout, but I don't really care for much else about it. The song selection is extremely limited. I don't remember past versions I've played being this limited. Overall, there's only about 6 or 7 songs that I like enough to use. It's annoying to have to turn off the in-game gimmicks, hand motions, etc. It might just be me, but I'm used to being able to control the game with solely the foot controls, but I had to use my Wii remote to select the song and change options and everything. ALSO, I'm used to being able to cancel a song once you've selected it- say you wanted "Hot Stuff" but accidentally selected "Clocks"- but I couldn't figure out a way to do that with this version.

Overall, it is more or less a good time, and if you're not as picky about music as I am, you probably won't be as bothered by the limited playlist. I really wouldn't recommend this to anyone, though. I'd say hold out and see if a better version ever comes out.
