"Play Online Without Fear of Running Out of Batteries." This product is very cool. If you've ever been playing any multi-player games online you know how frustrating it is for the cheapo batteries to give up on you in the middle of a fragfest. Now when I see those flashing lights on my controller I just plug-in the cord and play. Plus if your like me and hate changing batteries on anything this is a must have. This will definitly pay for it's self whether you're a casual gamer or a hardcore gamer. Highly Recommended.
"Excellent Item" Having been a bit behind on my accessories, I picked this play n charge pack up yesterday. As soon as I hooked it up to me XBox 360, and plugged it into my controller I knew I bought a great item.
I was able to play my games while the controller was charging and could see the charge taking place from my dashboard screen which shows the battery icon filling up.
The best thing about this charger is the length of the cord. In my setup, I have to sit approximately six feet away from my television, and this cord reached with no issue, as opposed to my PS3 which only stretches about two feet.
I recommend this to any XBox user, as it will save you from the frustration of running out on batteries at an inopportune time and will save you money in the long run as batteries are never cheap.
"Works just as its suppose to." The product was shipped in a timely manner, it was exactly how it was described and works just as it should.
"Does what it's suppose to do" Very handy when the moment the battery goes low in the wireless controllers in the middle of a game.
And as always, Amazon provided the best price and shipped fairly quick.
"A "Must have" for 360 owners" I was having problems with my wireless controllers shutting off during games. After some troubleshooting, I found out that it was the AA batteries losing connection. When I bumped or shook the controller, it would turn off. Even the lightest tap from my ring would turn it off. My temporary solution to this was to remove the battery cover and then pull the springs up more so they would hold the batteries in tighter. This worked for a while, but now that doesn't seem to be doing the trick anymore.
My new solution was to buy the play & charge kit. Problem solved! The rechargeable battery packs don't use the AA battery springs so now I can tap and shake the controller as much as I want and it stays on. No more frustration controller disconnects for me. I'm going to buy the rechargeable batteries for all three of my controllers.
The only downside that I've seen so far is that the battery life isn't as long as two AA's. But it's really not much of a downside because it's so easy to just plug in the cable and let it charge while you play. Your Xbox will even finish charging the battery after you turn the 360 off so it'll be at full charge the next time you play. Very cool!
Overall, this is a great product and a must have for any Xbox 360 owner.

What our customer's say!
"Must have accessory for your XBOX 360.", When I got my Xbox 360 Elite I immediately bought another controller for friends that might come over and I wanted to make things easier with having rechargeable batteries in my controllers. It seemed to be a waste of batteries to continuously change and throw out batteries.
This kit is perfect. It served my needs exactly. Batteries last a reasonably long time, although charging does take awhile (Keep in mind that is mostly the case because you usually are playing while charging). The charging cord is excessively long as well.
If you are tired of dealing with regular batteries and would like a more efficient way of powering your controllers, this is the best thing you could get.
"Great Product, few problems", This is a great product. There are many pros and few cons.
Pros - It replaces your batteries, you don't need to buy them anymore Play AND Charge - it allows you to charge while you play which allows you to charge faster. Simple - it is really simple to use, just plug it in to the controller and then to the console.
Cons - Sometimes it is difficult to remove the plug from the controller The batter will slowly lose its charge over time which means you will either not be able to charge it or it will lose its charge very quickly. It is really easy to replace and it isn't a hassle and it definately is less expensive to use disposable batteries.
Overall - 4 stars - simple to use, very reliable, and overall a better value then disposable batteries
"Unreliable, then unusable", I bought this kit along with a black wireless controller when Amazon had the bundle as a gold box deal a few months ago. It worked fine for a couple of weeks, then I started to notice that the battery was lasting shorter and shorter periods of playtime. Now it doesn't hold a charge at all. I plug it in and the light glows red for a second, then goes green. Unplug and the controller is dead.
Luckily it came with a standard battery pack and I now have rechargeable AA batteries and a charger, so I will just go that route and see if it works a little better. As a note, I also bought a white play/charge kit about 6 months before the black one, and it still works fine as of now. Guess it's luck of the draw on these, which is disappointing.
"convenience in my hands at last!", i've been using batteries for a while now and i'm sick of it. not having batteries when you are playing something is the worst thing that can happen to you on an xbox 360. these work fine, although you have to charge and use them a few times before they can retain their full charge (as expected by rechargeable batteries). and what's even better is you can play while its charging the batteries thanks to the cable. if you play an average or above average amount of xbox 360 i'd highly recommend this product. i bought two of them for both my controllers.
"It Works.", As simple as it is. It charges the battery, it works. I haven't had any problems with it. The cable is very long, so you won't have to move from that sweet spot on the couch during game play.

"Charged and Ready For Action!", This is a must-have for any serious Xbox 360 owner. Not only will you save money on batteries and help the environment, but the convenience is undoubtedly worth it.
The battery pack fits snugly and securely into the back of the controller where the regular batteries would go. You can play for dozens of hours without needing to recharge, but when your controller is finally on its last legs you simply plug the charge side of the cord (which fits into any of the 360's USB ports) into the top slit on the controller. You're able to play while the batteries recharge, and the cord is long enough to allow you to sit a fair distance away. However, it takes such a short amount of time to fully recharge that it'll be a very brief fix! There is a light on the cord top to indicate the batteries' charge as well; red means to leave it in for a while, and green means you're good to go!
This is the black-colored version of the Play & Charge Kit. It comes with both the charging cord and the battery pack. There is a white version to match the more common white controller, but the color of the charge kit is simply for aesthetics; they're interchangeable for either controller. I have the regular white controller and am using the black version with it, though surprisingly it still looks nice with the 360 controller's white and gray theme.
Bottom line: Perfect product. 5 stars. Get it if you don't already have it.
"Straightforward", This one is pretty straightforward. Does as it was intended. It's nice to not have to replace batteries all the time. If i was smart maybe i would have just gotten normal rechargeable AA's that i could use in any product, but this is pretty convenient since the charging cable also allows me to use the controller in a wired state.
The cable is a decent length, and I really don't give a crap that the black doesn't match my white controllers, given that it was roughly four bucks cheaper at the time of purchase, for some inexplicable reason (other than maybe the general lack of black controllers which, i guess, would only come as pack-ins with the elite or purchased separately).
"Does the job well", For what its goal is, this unit does the job well. The charge doesn't last as long as I'd like (typically about 5-6 power sessions of Call of Duty 4, by my count), but the charge cord is long enough to turn the remote into wired when I don't need to sit far away.
Overall, quite a handy piece of equipment. I'd recommend this to anyone with an Xbox 360.
"Works great! Battery holds charge for over 2 days.", This is great. When the battery is low I can just plug it in to charge it. It also charges when you turn off the console until it's full, then shuts off the charging feature. This will save a lot on AA batteries!
Cable is a bit long but that could be a good thing if you want to play from far away. It would be great if there's a way to charge a battery that's not plugged into the controller using the same cable.
"Super!", Plug and play is great! It allows you to save $ on batteries and save the planet.
