"I recommend it", I purchased the Mstand based on the good reviews here. The build quality makes it worth the cost. I looked at other stands and Some were cheap plastic and unstable, while others were just too complicated.
One criticism I have is that I agree with others the angle could be better. I measure it to be about 35º, but 25 or 30 would be much better. This would give users more room for adjusting the display angle. The display on the MacBook Pro does not tilt back very far, but I noticed at the Apple store that the new aluminum MacBooks open much father.
All said my desk is more comfortable, and using a keyboard/mouse is a joy.

"Greatest Stand EVER!!!!", I have a macbook pro 15" and this stand fits my computer to the "T".

This is by far the absolute best laptop stand on the market! It is insanely durable and will not let the computer move an inch!!! Plenty of room for air underneath, which was a question that I had when I purchased it. Perfect placement of the latch to hold the laptop, with room for the button access to open the computer and perfect spacing between the mic/lock for laptop/and cd drive.

I highly recommend this stand for anyone who wishes to get their laptop up off of the desk and free up some room, say for a keyboard, or midi piano or such.

"Very solid", This item is great if you want a solid, sturdy stand without adjustability. This thing is quite heavy and feels of high quality. The color matches my 15 in. MacBook Pro from 2006. The edges aren't quite as perfect as Apple's craftsmanship but most people probably wouldn't complain. It does look very nice on my desk (people have complimented after they do a double-take). The angle is acceptable if I open the lid as far at it will go.

Wish the price was slightly lower but Amazon did have the lowest $$ I could find anywhere. Recommended.

"Very nice", I have been using this with my HP Compaq 8510p notebook (Sorry, not Mac) about a month. It works well and it is very steady. It would be nice to have a black version for windows user. :-)

"Great stand", I also own a Griffin iCurve stand. This one is sturdier, holds the laptop more securely. I'm getting another one to replace the Griffin - one for home, one for the office.

"Loved it. Craved it. Bought it.", Had used one before at another company and then found myself missing it. So I bought one for myself. It's sturdy and elegant design provide a great perch for my MacBook Pro. If you're truly anal about the keeping everything consistent, then this stand is the right choice. Use on it's own or propped next to an Apple Cinema Display. Great design allows perfect access to the cd/dvd drive and the infrared remote sensor. And a little groove perfect for opening the laptop. You need this stand.

"Excellent product, but you pay a premium for the sleek design", As far as a laptop stand goes, this is a great product. Nevertheless, it is not cheap and you pay a premium for the high-quality design and materials.

PROS:
- Sturdy
- Well-designed: the stand sits the computer at an appropriate height and angle, and the front plate and rubber pads prevent any possibility of sliding
- Pretty: it matches my aluminum Apple laptop perfectly

CONS:
- Pricey
- Not portable: the stand does not fold up and is too heavy to carry around

"Neat looking but not compatible for all 15"", It is a nice looking laptop stand but for my Asus M50sa did not provide stable position.Most likely due to its was being designed for Apple laptops. So i had to get myself Xbrand ones and very content w/ them. I gave this to my friend who's using it for his 13"+ laptops seems to be working fine for him.
