"Challenging and unpredictable= fun", First off I have to comment on the few people who've actually complained about the ending being different from the book. DUH! Let go of your ego's that were saddened because you thought you were so clever for "already knowing" who the killer is and then being wrong. Think about how that would affect the game, how you act, what you search for and concentrate on- if you knew the ending.

This game was very fun. I enjoyed it the most when I'd get a slight hint or direction and have to think about how to play it out next. I enjoyed the plot too as it was fun. I also liked the layout. You can still see your whole screen and click on your inventory and it's just presented at the top of the screen. You can also click on documents and books to read some of the printed materials you picked up. You pick up a lot of items along the way and sometimes you have to "disassemble" them to get other items out of them. That was the most fun figuring out and trying to disassemble or combine other items to re-assemble. Definitly keep in mind as many are saying, that you need to be into this type of game to play or it could be incredibly boring.

Some downsides: It was a pain to go all over the island and then back to the house. There should be more actual "short cuts/secret tunnels" or quick links to say "go to..."

I have no idea how anyone could ever solve this without a cheat. It is very fun to have a slight hint of direcion and still challenging to figure out how to follow that direction or hint- but very often you have no hint or direction and could wonder the whole island and house all day with no avail.

Also, if you pay close attention to everything that was said, sometimes there are little clues and what to investigate next. Unfortunatly, if someone walks in the room or calls you- while they are talking and you miss what they said, I couldn't find a way to replay what they said. Also, the words show on the screen and then they are also said aloud. I read faster than they speak and I would like to move on after- but you have to wait for them to say the whole thing.

"worth the price ", the graphics are fair and the story line is good, for a murder mystery. the characters do walk slow and, like the back of the cover says, there is foul language. the foul language is a little more there than the violence. besides that it's a pretty good game.

"A highly devleoped mystery game.", The game is somewhat differnet from the origanol novel. You can gather clues to solve the mystery, and try to prevent one death or two or just be the solve suvivour of the game. You can also interact with the guest.

"False Advertisement !!!!", The person that put 'AGATHA CHRISTIE & TRUE CRIME on Amazon to sell has no idea of what their doing. The main reason i bought these 2 games is because it "said" that it's WINDOWS VISTA COMPATABLE, which it's not! How unbelieveable is that. Not only that it took 7 days to get here when E-bay you get your stuff within 3 days of purchasing the product. Last but not least i gotta return this product because the seller has no f****** clue what their advertising. What a waste of time this was.... E-BAY ALL THE WAY!!!

"good", Pretty good game. Drawback; if you do tasks out of sequence, the game gets stuck in the same day. Save game often.

"OMG!", Well, well, well. The Adventure Company has done it again! This is one of my fave games! It's really challenging and has a twist at the end! The nursery rhyme is real:

Ten Little Sailor Boys went out to dine,
one chocked himself and then there were nine.

Nine Little Sailor Boys went to bed late,
one overslept himself and then there were eight.

Eight Little Sailor Boys were in Devon,
one wanted to stay there and then there were seven.

one chopped himself in half and then there were six.

one got stung by a bumble bee and then there were five.

one got himself in chancery and then there were four.

The ending definitely shocked me BIG TIME! This game is a must have for those little detectives sitting at home bored! This will test your brain!

"So boring!!", I guess I should preface this review by saying I prefer to play first-person shooters so my experience my be different from those who enjoy slow-paced puzzle games. I bought it to take a break from one of the more intense games I own. Anyway, the game was extremely boring for me and the pacing did not help. I had no interest in solving the puzzles and most of them did not seem to advance the plot in any way. The graphics were disappointing, at best. I am returning this game first thing in the morning.

"A great mystery game with a few minor problems...", Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None" is one of the greatest mystery classics of all time. This being so, it would be especially hard for anyone to recreate a computer game on a classic. However, this game actually does a pretty good job of it.
The background graphics are well done, especially inside the house. The character graphics are a little ridiculous-looking, but one gets used to them as one plays. The voice acting is really well done; with Patrick Narracot, Emily Brent, and Judge Wargrave the best of the pack.
Overall, this game was really fun to play. It didn't cause a lot of frustration, but it wasn't too easy, either. Some puzzles didn't seem to make sense, and I had to refer to a walkthrough maybe twice, just because the solutions don't seem like something you would actually do in real life to solve that problem. The dialogue was all first-rate, with much of it being recognizable from the book.
I am one of those people who, even though it means that the end of the game would be spoiled, insists upon having the unchanged original ending of the mystery; and when it comes to the legendary Dame Agatha Christie, it's a must. The fake ending that ends the game is contrived, stupid, and almost impossible to follow. I was outraged when I saw this, but, thankfully, there is a bonus section at the end of the game where you solve one more puzzle. Then you get to see the REAL ending, exactly as Agatha Christie planned it-- both plot-twisting and clever, along with the *gasp* factor.
If you are like me and love mysteries and mystery games, this game is a must, especially for fans of the Nancy Drew computer game series (like me). But if you don't like a lot of dialogue and long gameplay hours, then it's not for you.

"Agatha Christie: And Then There Were None", The game was advertised as VISTA compatable but when I received I found that it was not so I had to return it.

"A nice change...", If you are tired of 1st person shooters and like beautiful scenery and puzzles then this is the game for you. I was engrossed for hours and the graphics are quite good considering the low spec requirements. With most PC games the plot and finality isn't important but this game I was captivated from beginning to finish to know the outcome. There are maps in the booklet and if and probably when you get stuck there are a couple of excellent walkthroughs online.
This game is an advanced point and click type of format (much better than the old Myst format). COlors are vivid, graphics are excellent. My only complaint is I wish they stuck to the original book ending. Much darker and made more sense instead of the "fluff." But at least they gave alternative endings.
