"Funny and challenging"
This is a really cute game that has some very funny elements. I would recommend it for anybody, but it is great and educational for kids as it teaches about supply and demand. The only drawback of this game is that on a couple of the levels, it takes a long time to achieve your goal of driving your competitors out of business, and there really isn't anything you can do to speed the process up. But overall, the game is very good.

"Boring for adults"
Perhaps the problem is that I bought this game for myself, and I am over the age of 8 years.

The character art started off with promise but rapided declined into something miniaturized, boring and with about as much visual stimulation and interaction as an ant farm. I gave this game about 30 minutes of attention, before I decided that I could not bear looking at the boring, small figures of townspeople running up and down the streets of the village any longer.

Then, I deleted the game from my computer and decided to give it to my 8 year year old grandchild. I will let her know that this game does not require much participation. If she gets bored, she can give it to someone younger than herself.

Don't buy this game, if you are older than 8.

" I couldn't stop playing!!! "
I love this game. I got it just before Christmas and beat it yesterday. I liked it so much I couldn't stop playing. Fun characters, great details, very addicting!!! Easy to learn, fun to play. Medium difficulty to beat game. You have to understand when to buy things and when to take a loan to buy things, and when and what to upgrade. Then it's easy.

"So Much Fun!!!"
This game is a wonderful form of entertainment. You're part of the fairy godmother's family and you have to rebuild her empire from the ground up. You face comical opponents like the NSH (Not-So-Hansome)Princes, who is headed by Prince Combover. It is a very funny game and you get to help fairy tale creatures as well in some pop up scenerios. As you advance through the levels, it definetly becomes more challenging. You are also able to upgrade a lot throughout the game. The tutorial was a big help. Fun fun fun!!!

"Fairytale Time!"
I bought Fairy Godmother Tycoon on a whim. It caught my interest because you make potions and sell them to the villagers to increase your profits and ultimately run your competition out of business. I thought; sounds interesting. Now that I have the game and have played it; I love it! When I start a new store in a village I can't stop until I have run the competition out of town. AND WIN! HeHe! "Not so much...", I am addicted to Roller Coaster Tycoon so have been trying out the other tycoon games. This one is the first disappointment. Too little interactions during the sell phase make it a guess and see type of game. Oh Well. My 5 year old nephew likes it....

"Good start up tycoon game", if you are unsure of tycoon games, and want a game that is easy to play and gives you an idea what tycoon games are about then this game is for you. If you are familiar with tycoon games and want a challenge then this game is not for you. The game only has one mode in the beginning which is classic game which is story mode. You must go through the entire classic game to unlock all cities. Once the cities are unlocked it goes back and revisits whatever city you choose using the money you won previously in that game. Once classic is over it is rather boring. Yes. classic has some fun story tale twists that are fun to choose different options on, but that is also limited in the options.

In conclusion. this is a great tycoon beginner game, but if your used to other tycoon games that move at a faster pace you will want to pass on this one.

"It's Just Plain Fun", This game was a lot of fun. The graphics are not top of the line but they are cute and well done. It is certainly a buying and selling game, sort of a mini business simulation with a magical twist. At 10 dollars, its a good buy. At the initial 20 it was iffy because although the game plays a little longer than many "casual" games (and more depth too) it is still scores below the length of the bigger titles.

"Fairy Godmother Tycoon Review", I bought this game because I am very interested in magical stuff. But as I began to play the game, I realized it's not much of a magical game as I hoped it would be. It's more of a dealing game. Like, it's perfect for people who are interested in buying and selling. But overall, it's not bad.

"Fun, Educational Game", This is one fun game! I played it and got hooked. My daughter is hooked on it, too. I call it educational because it truly is. You have to be able to buy supplies (hopefully buying when they are low and having enough on hand so you don't have to buy when they are high-priced), create a product, price a product correctly according to the supply and demand, market a product well, and sell the product. This is a great tool to teach my daughter about supply and demand in a very fun atmosphere. The graphics are cute and the theme is entertaining. I recommend Fairy Godmother Tycoon. It is very enjoyable to play.

Read this reviews before You buy...

"Sounds easy, but it is not", I really liked this product. Behind the light-hearted themes, there is an interesting game of business competition using good inventory control principles, marketing, and controlling of expenses. The game is very educational, and still a lot of fun.

"Not much bang for your buck.", It's a fun game but it's easy to win and then it's done. Once a level is won it's not much fun playing it again.

Fairy Godmother Tycoon is not like Zoo Tycoon or Roller Coaster Tycoon.

All it takes to play is to set the variables (price, amounts, advertisement...etc.) and set the game into motion. There are a couple of spells that allow for changes after the game is started but they're generally useless.



"A really fun addictive game with great replay value!", I waited for this game to go on sale because although these types of games are really fun I tend to finish them in a couple of days and can't see spending $20 on a game like that. But for $10 this is a great game! Much better than Lemonade Tycoon! If you liked Lemonade Tycoon (which I actually did) you will love this game!

"A Great *FUN* Game!", When I bought this I was trying to find something like Sim City where you build stuff. When I started playing it I realized I had not picked up a game where you build stuff, and I was really disappointed. I even considered taking it back to buy Sim City 4.

My son wanted to play it though (even though he is too young for it) so I decided to give it a try. He loved watching all the people move around the towns and I soon found myself ADDICTED to this game. I could not stop playing it!

This is such a fun game for any age! It says a kid game on the front of it, I realized that after I had bought it. I thought it was going to be terrible, but it is not. It is SO GOOD and SO FUN.

I would recommend this game to adults and any child that is able to read.

"Fairy Godmother Tycoon", I liked this game from the start. Simple to play and fun. Everything moves pretty quick and you are given clear goals to achieve. Overall, the game gets 4 stars. Enjoy.
