"Great for Vista, not XP"
I need to begin this review by saying that I tried the tablet software on my Windows XP computer and things went so wrong that I had to do a System Restore. In the install process under XP you need to install more than one unsigned driver and these inevitably cause problems. I STRONGLY advise people running Windows XP to avoid this (if i had to base this review on my XP experience it would be 0 stars).

However, the story on my Laptop (running Vista Ultimate) is completely different. On this computer the installation was simplicity itself. I just plugged it in and it was working. I installed from the disk too just to get the extras. For the price I think I've gotten a very good value. The touch sensitivity is very good and I find that I can draw on the tablet ALMOST as accurately as I'd draw on a sheet of paper. In addition, it supports recognition of variable pressure in Photoshop (and probably other programs).

If I needed something that could support the same sensitivity as drawing on paper I'd probably get one of the other tablets that are far more expensive. If you don't need quite that level of sensitivity then this is a good choice. However, do bear in mind that the software that comes with this program is very basic. You're buying, for the most part, just the input device. You do get 5 pieces of software that have some cool functions (too much to describe here) but if you really want to do serious art or image editing you'll need additional software.

It's is really easy to set up and use! It made my life much easier. Very helpful when using photoshop.

"Genius mousepen"
Works great with windows vista but isn't compatible with windows xp. If you have xp then don't get this. We haven't yet been able to find a driver online that allows this device to work with windows xp. So don't buy this unless you have vista on your computer.

"Excellent for the price, dicey with Windows XP"
This works well enough for what I needed as a Photoshop hobbiest, digital scrapbooker, and occasional sufferer of wrist pain from using a regular mouse. I don't use the stylus full time, but when editing, it's quite handy... once we got it working! Out of the box, it's designed to work with Windows Vista, so I had to download the proper drivers, which was not as easy as one would expect.

I find both the mouse's and stylus's habits of "going to sleep" when not used for a short time to be a bit annoying, but it's not a deal breaker.

All in all, I would hate this if I were trying to use the stylus professionally or full time, but for occasional hobby use, it was just what I needed at a price that couldn't be beat.

"Pretty great so far"
It takes a bit of getting used to just like any other tool or gadget thats for sure. but as far as it working and doing what it says it does, its perfect. the pressure sensitivity works and its pretty smooth. theres plenty of tutorials on using tablets in general.

So if you're new to whole graphics tablet and meet the requirments, definatly get this one. the price is pretty great too. Especially since it seems to be well worth it and maybe more.

and the program i use is adobe photoshop CS3

I'd reccomend this to anyone who hasn't used a tablet and dont have a big budget.
