"Fraud or Mistake? You decide...", I did not buy this from Amazon, but at Office Depo. I am using it and works fine for Audio and WMA CD's. However, the CD I received does not give an option for an MP3 Disc. Why? Interesting.....Both the manual and CD case state "06CLW-01." But the CD I received states "05CLW-01." So does this mean I received the earlier version of the software? I sent a tech request to Nova to find out. Three stars until I find out what is going on.

"Media Now", Not what the right up said. It converted all my mp3 files to a different format and will not allow me to burn an mp3 music disc like Nero does. It will only allow the burning of 80 mins of music and not the 700 mb like Nero does. I am going to buy Nero and trash Media Now.

"Great Product", This is the second time we purchased Meida Now. We use it to upload our digital photos into DVDs/CDs and it works great.
It is not necessary to spend more money on the other expensive programs unless you really are into all that extra stuff. If you want the basics and want to get compliments on your DVDs, this is the program.

I made several discs using this program and got reviews from all family members on how professional they looked.

"excellent for the money - quality burns every time", i just started using media now and i must say so far it works very well. i didnt expect much since it was so affordable (about $12 new, nice price) but it is a real workhorse. It does the number one thing i needed - good quality data DVD's. i didnt have to read a manual - just drag and drop files from your harddrive and press burn and start. takes about 17 minutes to burn a full dvd at 16x. for years, i used a friends old version of the nero suite when my old copy suddenly stopped working. nero is one of the top brands of burning software (along with roxio and corel, i guess), I was disappointed at the price nero was asking for the new suite. no regular home user should pay close to $80 or more for software unless they are using it in a professional capacity. anyway, first i downloaded some free software to see what worked. most of them wouldnt even recognize my pc dvd/cd hardware and loaded my pc with so much damaging spyware that it took all evening to get rid of it. finally a free program named starburn worked pretty good but certain files would cause it to crash every now and then. i think the naysayers are unhappy because they wanted something more than what media now is mainly for - good basic burn software to do data dvd's and audio cd's. if you want to do something fancy like video clip captures and slide shows then go pay for those high priced name brands. medianow comes with a nice suite - powerdvd, etc. however, if it doesnt do all those other operations perfectly it is still well worth the money as a functional burn software. i've been using pc's since windows 3.0 but don't consider myself an expert. i'm no tech geek but know good software when i use it.

"Non functioning product", I have a laptop with Windows Vista. This product does not function at all. I went to my "Geek Squad" here in town for help. The only solution was to uninstall the program and get something else. I hope for a refund.
