"Hallmark Card Studio 2007"
this is a nice card program - the printing prompt is a bit confusing at first, but once you get it, it works nicely ! I like the calendar and some of the other features - I have another card printing program and this is a nice addition - each has their special features !! I was skeptical after reading some of the reviews, but it turned out fine and I'm very satisfied !

"Works For Me"
I bought this software because I like Hallmark cards the best and because Hallmark's website lets you send FREE e-cards. I have Windows XP and a 3-yr old Dell and this software works great with it! From the moment I installed Card Studio 2007, I was able to bring up cards, add text to the front of cards, delete text I didn't want and replace it with my own, add photos and even change the back of the card in the "Created just for you by ---" to add my name and the date I created it.

I use Hallmark's half-fold matte greeting card blanks and envelopes. I haven't had any problems with registration (in printing). When printing envelopes, I remove the paper from my printer, place the envelope in the paper tray, and move the paper guide to the edge of the envelope to hold it in place. By doing that, the envelope doesn't print crookedly.

Maybe I didn't get a copy of the software that had 'bugs' in it, maybe some customers didn't intuitively know how to use the software, or perhaps they expected too much. The only regret I have is that I didn't get the Deluxe edition which contains more cards, fonts, and clip-art from which to choose. I heartily recommend this software for its ease in making eye-catching personalized greeting cards!

"Unhappy"
I purchased this updated version 1/5/07. It does not print correctly, and technical support assured me that the developer is "working on the problem" and a "fix" is soon to come. This is March 1, and no update is available yet. This program is UN-USABLE and I am very unhappy and would not recommend "as is" to anyone. I have the 2005 edition and was very pleased with it. This is a large embarrassment to the Hallmark company.

"Easy to use"
This program is a joy to use,the options for formating and editing are endless ,works very good on my old computer with Windows 2000 system. Prints very nice cards. The address labels are professional also does good job on envelopes and gift tags etc.

"It is still a beta version!"
I bought this software to print my Christmas cards and much to my dismay, it did not print properly on my HP inkjet printer. I tried various settings with the same bad results and finally had to contact tech support via email. Here is the reply:

"Thank you for contacting Hallmark Technical Support.

We apologize for any difficulties that you may have had with our software.

This is a newly found issue with the program. The developers are currently working on an update that will correct this. They said that the update should be out around Christmas. Please routinely check for new updates by going to the Help menu and selecting the Check for Updates option. When an update is available, you will be informed and it should automatically install the update."

This is a "printing" software so when it does not print properly, it indicates that the software was not tested properly or simply the publisher expect the users to be beta-testers! If some other features that did not work, it may be excused, but this bug is unexcusable!

I am sure the software developers will have the software bugs fixed, but at the meantime don't be a beta-tester, buy someting else. Humbug!
