"Got IRS Notice for 02 Underpayment of Taxes/delayed payment", I have been using Turbo Tax product since 1997. Last year 2005 tax return after I had e-filed, I got an IRS notice/fine for underpayment of estimated tax. I payed this amount and wrote to Turbo Tax about their 100% Gurantee and interest, on any IRS fines. Nothing happened and I never got any money back. So if you depend on this claim, be sure you will not get anything back...or you will have to really run after it to get anything back. I tried contacting them through Online CHAT. The Support folks in India passed me on to 2 of their departments and finally asked me to contact Turbo Tax over phone. Forget it...not worth all the hasle. Next time may use a different product.

"Exceptional product", Able to handle all aspects of tax preparation. Easy to use. Almost makes taxes fun!

"Schedule K-1 and general instructions.", 1. Schedule K-1. Problem: I have a partnership K-1 which was liquidated on 12/31/2005, reported on 2005 tax return. Schedule K-1 was received at the end of 2006 for this property showing residual action of $36 normal income and a distribution of $186 pertinent to the liquidated property sold in 2005. Turbotax is not clear about handling this type of activity when it is not termed as long term capital gain. The worksheet forms seem to be inadequate for this situation. When an override is done to place the $36 on page 1 of the form 1040 electronic filing is not allowed. I sent an email to Turbotax and received an acknowledgment but no suggestions. I used an override and filed my return by mail. The reason I purchased Turbotax Premier TY2006 was because it was advertised as being able to handle Schedule K-1 information.
2. It seems that the explanation of the importance the worksheets and their relationship to the population of the various required forms should be emphasized prior to use of the software.

Otherwise, this is a very good and useful product. I will buy it again.

"BUGS Galore", Who checks this product? Lots of bugs this year and no one to call. I've been using Turbo Tax for many years, but I think its time to find a new product (or dare I say it -- go to an accountant?). It is easy to transfer the prior year information which is why I haven't ditched it before. But the numerous problems with this year's "enhancements" have tried my patience.

"Tax Filing Made Easy ", This is my 2nd year using Turbo Tax. I buy the Premier Version because I have investments and reporting on that can get tricky. This product is so easy to use and I especially liked the fact that I could import data from the previous tax year. Even with the cost of purchasing Turbo Tax, I still save between $300-400 because I don't have to go to an Accountant any more.
