"Turbo Tax Business 2006 Corporation and Partnerships", I purchased this product to complete the company tax returns in 2007 for 2006. The product was very easy to use and allowed me to file me taxes on time without the headache. However, you have to repurchase the product each year; there are not upgrades.

"Sorry I Purchased This", This program worked pretty well, but I am sorry I purchased it. I'm a senior citizen in Medford, Oregon and could have had my tax done for free. I didn't save any money by using this program. I just wasted money by buying it.

Also, I had to waste a lot of time downloading updates. And there was a problem with the fact that I sold my old car and purchased another car for a higher price. Was I supposed to get a deduction for that? I'm old. I wished for a human being.

"POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE", THIS ITEM WAS RECEIVED TWO WEEKS LATER THAN AMAZON PROMISED. THEY SAID IT WAS IN STOCK AND WE GOT THE EXPRESS SHIPPING?? WHEN WE CALLED TO FIND OUT WHY, THEY SAID IT WAS A PROCESSING ERROR AND WE NEVER RECEIVED CREDIT!!! AMAZON DIDN'T STAND BEHIND THEIR WORD. FRUSTRATED.....AND TIME WASTED!!! BUY IT AT WALMART LIKE I WILL FROM NOW ON!

"not as easy as expected for a first time user", I previsouly used an accountant for my S-corp (federal, state and NYC) returns as well as (federal and state) personal returns. That can easily come to $1000. With turbotax you save a bunch around $750. The business product DOES NOT INCLUDE STATE RETURN which is another $50, and the NYC return is an additional $50 (available from inside the program).

I used it the first time this year, I am pretty good with numbers, accounting and excel. It tool me well over 10 hours to enter the business returns after having all my numbers estimated in excel.

The customer support by email was helpful as was the community forum, but responses are not always quick. and it is a time consuming process to research questions. The is VERY LITTLE GUIDANCE in filling out the state and NYC return. TT basically gives you the form and let you fill in the areas not generated by numbers on the federal return. TT reviews those returns for errors which certainly adds some value (relative to pencil and paper). It was too difficult for me to fill in state and NYC myself off the fed business return without any software, so I don't see that as an option (to save $100) despite the limited additional information needed.

BOTTOM LINE - The first year using it will probably cause some of your hair to turn grey, subsequent years should be much easier. The navigation and interface is not intuitive enough for to make the first year smoot but over the years you can save a substancially in preparing you own taxes.

One strategy might be to try it one year and run it by a tax accountant (as training wheels) and then in subsequent years do it on your own. (of course year one would be time consuming and expensive but that probably makes sense in the long run.)

"Much Improved", The 2006 version is much improved over earlier versions. It took me only an average of 2 hours each to do two trust returns.

"Don't expect a magic wand", I have been using the Federal Turbo Tax for years and love it. This year is my first year with an LLC so I have to fill out a 1065. Thus, I needed to also buy the Corporations and Partnership version. The tax guy wanted $1,000 so I thought I would save myself money now and in the years to come if I could do it myself. I highly recommend to anyone using this product to go to [...] and download the 1065 PDF help forms which guide you through the process. The help provided by Turbo Tax is not good. Even with the prompting, it took me about 30+ hours to research and figure things out. Two important things that I learned. First, the corporation does not pay taxes. You pay the partners (yourself) or the employees and they pay taxes on their individual federal forms. Second, an LLC cannot claim part of their home as an office. Go to the irs web page and read the home office form for more info on this. I will most likely buy this program next year along with the Federal and State versions because in the long run it will save me time and money.

"Easiest install of a TurboTax ever!", I usually dread installing and patching Turbo Tax. This is my 8th year using them and in the past it has been a headache to get the latest updates sometimes. This was a SMOOTH process. It self updates, downloads the patches, applies them and tells you when a module you are using is still going to be updated at a later date (and gives you that expected date too). I found this version to operate just like all the others, but the UPDATE experience is what really impressed me.

"Turbo Tax Program", my wife is a tax person and uses this program to so some of the peoples taxes that have businesses. the price with Amazon is alway good and cheaper than on the regular market. i save about $17 on this program with amazon..thanks..

desktop technology the "stopper" issues are surmounted.

"Another year of bugs and horrible support", Shame on me for buying this each year. For the third year in a row it has bugs and the support this year is just as bad as the previous ones. My Illinois State return, which I bought online through the federal product, keeps generating late payment charges on my return, despite the fact that taxes aren't due for another month. The wait time to speak to a foreigner on the phone is 60 minutes, and the email support is ludicrous because the people answering the emails take longer than the phone hold queue to respond, and come back with nonsense.
