"SPECK TOUGH SKIN CASE FOR I POD NANO", THIS ITEM DID NOT ARRIVE IT'S ORIGINAL PACKAGE AND THE BELT CLIP WAS MISSING. I HAD TO GO TO A DEPARTMENT STORE AND PURCHASE A BELT CLIP FOR IT. THAT STORE HAD THIS ITEM IN IT'S ORIGINAL PACKAGE WITH THE BELT CLIP INCLUDED.THE IPOD FALLS OUT OF THE BOTTOM OF THE TOUGH SKIN. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON IT.

"Great cover for your Ipod", This case is very resistent and it's great for the gym. Your Ipod will be very secure. The belt clip is the only thing that could break. I replaced my first Speck Toughskin case after 3 yrs, because the clip belt broke but I couldn't find anything else with rubber case and clip belt that could be compared to this product. I love it!!

"Rugged protection with a clip", This fits very nicely over the 2nd gen Nano and makes it easy to clip to my belt when doing things around the house or running through the airport.

"Very Good Product", Very well built and does what it was designed to do, that is to protect the MP3 player.

Read this reviews before You buy...

"Nice BUT...", Nice product, looks good and it protects the ipod. I'd give it 5 stars if the belt clip hadn't broken after 6 months. The clip is made of plastic or acrylic covering a steel clip. The problem is that the steel does not reinforce the part that you pinch to open up the clip. So after a few months of daily use it developed a stress fracture in a straight line just above the steel part of the clip. There is no way to fix it and the only thing to do is purchase another one which I won't do until the design is improved. Too bad, because otherwise this was a very handy addition to the ipod.

"The best iPod cover. Period.", I have both my nano and 30gb iPods covered in Speck ToughSkins. The price and protection are perfect.



"A great protection for my nano", All iPod accessories are over-priced, that is just a fact. On the other hand, you generally tend to get what you pay for in them (compare a $5 case to a $25 case sometime).

I'd have to say that of all the cases I have tried for my iPod nano, the ToughSkin is by far the one I feel keeps my nano the safest. The size of the plaer itself always made me nervous, as if I might snap it in half just picking it up. This case gives it some bult and some weight, but not too much - it still feels like a light slick machine. Now when I set it down on my desk it makes a nice "thunk" sound, I know it is protected for the many times I am likely to drop it in the coming years.

The swivel clip it comes with was extremely easy to remove, and that is what I did as soon as I got the skin. With the case on, the nano still fits easily in my jeans pocket.

Headphones and charger areas are very easy to get to, as is the Hold button. The screen is totally visible (some cases cover part of it, bad designs), and I have no problems at all using the buttons/dial.

For anyone who wants rugged drop-protection, this is the BEST I've found for it. If you are looking for something that won't change the look or the size of your iPod, you might want to check out a thin silicon, neoprene, or leather slip-on case.

They should redesign, asap, the belt clip. It's unconfortable, not safe, big, ugly, etc.
But the case is wonderful.

"Not a bad protector", I like this Ipod protector. It's really lightweight. One thing I don't like is that the plastic cover for the Ipod screen is not attached to the ToughSkin protector. I didn't know what to do with it.
