"The Best Tennis Game", Virtua Tennis 3 is still the best tennis game. It is a LOT of fun to play, has intuitive free flowing shot making control that makes it feel like a real game of tennis and it has beautiful graphics. It has been made with a lot of love and care and attention to detail and it shows. It is an enjoyable experience to be in that space. Highly recommended.

"Can't stop playing it", I used to be addicted to VT on my PSP, playing the World Tour for hours everyday, so I hesitated when getting this since I assumed it'd be too awesome to put down. of course, I was right. The graphics are superb, very easy to just pick up and play since the controls are solid, and the overall gameplay is fantastic with well-balanced AI opponents. The best part is the World Tour, where you can design you player and evolve from amateur ball hitter to world-class marquis athlete. The training games are so fun and addictive, you'll end up wondering where the day went.

One the biggest bangs for your buck on the PS3. A+

"This game is perfect if it comes with online feature", I am not sure why Sega don't put the online feature for PS3 version like the one in Xbox. Is not like the system doesn't have that feature when the game comes out, how come Sega don't use it? I think this game is great just like the previous two but it will be better if I can play against other people over the internet.

"Really good Tennis Game", I have this game for the PSP and it's a real letdown. I got my PS3 for christmas and got this game used for $24.99 and I've played it every day since.

I'm not someone with a long attention spand so I don't play the world mode only the arcade. I like a challenge so I only play in the Very hard mode and boy let me tell u.. it is hard. I have smash court tennis for PSP and only play in the hardest mode and it's nothing compare to this in hard mode. In hard mode on SCT I can beat elite players 6-0,6-0 just no challenge.

If smash court tennis was as challenging as Virtua Tennis then it would be a really great game but competition wise Virtua Tennis beats Smash court hands down.

The graphics in VT3 are okay, not outstanding. The players also don't look like the real thing. It doesn't have the sound effects like when maria sharapova screams on every shot.. I miss that very much. Smash court tennis have all of those but like I said, it's not as challenging. One thing I don't like on VT3 is that you cant play best of 3-5 sets which really sucks.

I hear they are making a new tennis game hopefully it will be as detail as smash court tennis but as challenging as VT3.

So in conclusion. If you want to play a tennis game where u really have to think and where the competition is good I say get this game it's fun in that respect. However, if you're looking for Nadal grunt or sharapova screams then forget it..

"Great game, but short story", I was very excited when i first got this game.
It has great graphics, and is very fun to play.
The only problem that i see, is that even though it has various game modes, they are not so exciting, they help you to improve your in game abilities, but the get very boring after a while.
I finished playing with the story mode in 2 weeks, its kind of hidious because all you do is play and play the same thing over and over, but there is not much to do about it, its a tennis game, the same happens with soccer games, basketball games, etc.
I havent tried it by playing with somebody else, none of my friends are PS3 fans, but it looks like a great game to play between 2 or more people.
I am a huge fun of tennis, and thats why i got it, when i cant go out to play real tennis because of rain or other reasons, the game makes me feel almost as excited as playing in real life.
Its not a must have, unless you are a big fan of the game!

"great fun... for a while", I've played this game for about 30 total hours now. It's very well done and addictive. Nice graphics, good depth in developing abilities with training games. The only gripes are about difficulty, Having mastered the gameplay, Hard is too easy, yet Very Hard is a nightmare. The CPU runs down EVERYTHING, and even when lunging returns shots at impossible angles to deny hard earned points. The volleying doesn't work like it should, also denying sure points with inexplicably weak returns. These "cheating" elements have now killed the game for me. The Chasm of Difficulty between settings really hurts an otherwise great title. With a friend it could still be very fun, but there's no online option. Worth the price, but could be better.

"Really fun!", This is a really fun game. It is great to play multiplayer and graphics are awsome. A sure rental. Not sure if its worth buying though.

even that i think that the faces could be more realistic, its almost same face they uses in entire game.
but funny and very hard specially @ the end.
it lacks the possibility of online gaming which is a down thing. come again
