"Fairly easy to install - works great!"
The only problem I had was in moving the adaptor to a different usb port in which I had to reset up the whole thing, but otherwise have had no problems at all!

"Network made easy"
The easiest part of setting-up my home wireless network was adding LinkSys WUSB300N adapters to the remote desktops. They plug into a USB port, installation was easy, they just work. If only Vista had remained plug-and-play instead of plug-and-pray!

"Do not buy this product"
This is a terrible product and the tech support is useless. I spent three days and multiple calls to tech support to get this thing to work and they had me do everything possible under the sun--click this button, change that setting, unplug this wire, bring in another laptop, get a new ethernet cable, touch your nose with your tngue (ok, I made that last one up)--but nothing worked. The Linsys forums are replete with the "bugginess" of this this product. Save your time. Save your money. Buy something else--anything else.

"Worst adapter ever..."
This wireless adapter worked better as a book end in my home than it's intended purposes.

not recomended

"As long as you're careful"
I really love this thing. So much so that I actually bought a second one a couple months later. They're fragile but as long as you can keep it safe it's a great buy.

What our customer's say!

"I love this product", I was having trouble receiving and keeping a signal in airports and hotels. My laptop has a built-in mini wireless device that is not very strong unless you are very close to the source. I could receive an excellent signal if I sat in a hotel lobby, but back in my room I had nothing but trouble. Someone suggested this adapter so I gave it a try. I love it. I have had no problems connecting at hotels since I bought this adapter. I am running Vista. I can honestly say I have not had one minute of trouble. I am buying another one for my older laptop at home since I now have wireless at my home. I would recomend this adapter to anyone who needs extra signal strength.

"I hate this product", I have a desktop with XP on it and a laptop with built-in wireless. Both are my living room and the wireless router is down the hall. The Linksys USB wireless network adapter loses its connection three to five times a day. My laptop never loses a connection, so it obviously isn't the signal strength. To get the USB adapter working again, I have to unplug it and plug it back in to reset it. Also, if I use another USB port on my computer then it kills the wireless connection and I have to unplug it and plug it back in. This makes me crazy b/c I use my desktop computer to stream music while I work and I know right away when the usb adapter drops its connection and I have to reset it. Now I'm looking for a wireless LAN extender that I can plug my desktop into directly and throw this usb adapter in the garbage.

"Crazy little thing ...", I bought this USB Wireless N adapter to replace a Linksys Wireless-N PCI Adapter WMP300N that didn't work at all on my kids computer (Dell Optiplex GX 110.) That card was good when I tried it with a Dell Dimension 9100, but had an incompatibility issue with the old Optiplex. So, trying to stay with Linksys, I decided to try the USB version.

I'm glad I did. The installation was a breeze (didn't use the Linksys drivers), and the computer works seamlessly with the adapter. The kids have a blast with their Internet games. I tried the adapter with a laptop and the Dimension 9100 and had the same results.

Now, the kids want a newer computer; but, that's another story ...

"Excellent product", I use the Linksys WRT150N Wireless N Router at home with my PS3 and 2 computers. I use the Linksys WUSB300N Wireless-N USB Network Adapter (the item being reviewed) with my desktop since the router is in a different room and I don't want to run cables. I have a wireless G card for my laptop, but I switch to the USB adapter when I'm not using it on my desktop because it gets a much stronger signal and faster downloads than the card. In short, I love it. Being on a USB cable and having a stand, you can either plug it directly into the computer, or set it a little bit away from the computer for better positioning.

"Good Way to Get Wireless-N via USB", Wireless-N much better than Wireless-G. Be able to conveniently plg this device into a USB 2.0 port, is great. You can even tether this device up to 6 feet away from your PC to get better reception.

"Great range and speed", My D-Link wireless-n router (3 antennas) is in the basement and on the other corner of our sprawling house from our office, maybe 60 feet and one floor away, with heating & AC ducting between. The Linksys adapter has no trouble communicating at around 50% signal strength & 108Mbps to 216Mbps speed, while the D-Link wireless adapter on my wife's computer in the same room often limps along at 5-10Mbps & sometimes loses connection entirely.
I think part of the Linksys advantage is due to its 2 little exterior adjustable antennas which allow you to tune reception for a specific direction, while the D-Link relies on an internal antenna.
Install was straightforward & easy on my dual-boot box (Win2K & WinXP) and works great with both operating systems. It was a little spendy compared to the D-Link adapter, but well worth it in terms of better overall functionality. Would definitely purchase again.

"Excellent addition", Since I have a Linksys Wireless N router and now need a little more distance and strength than the built-in wireless G in my computer I decided to try this, despite the cost. My throughput is now twice my nearby wired connection, over 200k bps! Dependable strong signal and it goes further!
I recommend purchase for those needing higher and stronger connections, especially if you already have the Linksys Wireless-N router.

"USB300N Review", If you need additional range, you will find that this is an excellent prdouct. I live in a 5 level home, with one of three computers on the top level. When I was using the G adapter the range was limited to two floors. By using the N technology I will able to remove the ethernet cable strung though out the house and receive a strong signal 4 levels from when the wireless modem was transmitting.

"Linksys WUSB300N Wireless-N USB Network Adapter-Online Gaming", Great product. No problems. Easy to install and use. I am able to play online games (MMOG) without significant lag with this adapter and the Linksys Wireless N gaming router.

"Caution - WUSB300N is not stable under Windows Vista", Could not get device from dropping link. The only solution was to unplug and replug the USB cable into the PC. Tried all drivers from Linksys, Windows Vista, and 3rd party. Called Linksys support and got nowhere. All they offered was to uninstall and reinstall their driver off their web site.
