"AWFUL"
I bought this item, used it once with the docking connection and it was working ok, but when I wanted to turn it on the next day it didn't WORK! no sound! I had it replaced but again THE SAME THING HAPENNED! I can't still believe it! I'm very dissapointed, it's been the worst experience I've ever had with Amazon.. Don't BUY THIS! As someone said on another review... this item is cheeply made, so don't waste your money and buy something more expensive with higher quality.

"Waste of money."
I have owned this for less then 1 day. This item is sub par. The docking connection to my ipod is weak. The sound goes in and out on one or two speakers at a time depending on how it sits in the unit, regardless of the individual adapter for my particular device. Meaning this is cheeply made and I got what I paid for.

"BAD ITEM NOT RECOMMENDED "
This is the worst item I had ever use in my life , the first order they sent me it was used and the other one they sent as a replacement not working , once I turn it ON I heard Voices and the smoke was all over the room !!!! BAD VERY BAD ITEM, Not RECOMMENDED

"got what I paid for..."
Okay I'm revising this comment since I've had the speakers for a while now and pretty much used to them. Yes the sound is a bit "tinny" and weak especially at a low volume. And the things that I'm still getting used to is the incredibly bright blue light that shines from the power/volume buttons. I mean it's very bright and leave's a slight glare in my room at night when I'm trying to sleep.

I'm also getting used to the fact that it's not very portable. You need the cord plugged in somewhere for the speakers to work...I had another brand of speakers for over a year that would charge then allow to play without being plugged in and for me it's just something I need to adjust to. I only paid the 32.99 + Shipping for it because my old speakers where fading in and out and I needed a quick replacement before they went completely dead on me, I just wish I shopped around a little and maybe even spent a little more on some better quality speakers.

"Whimpy sound"
This is not portable and needs to be plugged in to work. Sound is about what one could expect for the price. There are no controls other than volume. It would be nice to be able to skip to the next song without touching the iPod.

"Not what it said", This item was advertised as portable, it is not. Don't even try to get satisfaction from company, you will get none.

"Tinny cheap sound", Save your money for better quality speakers, there is a noticeable difference in sound quality between the Ipod headphones and these speakers.

"Great Product!", I think this is a great product. You can listen to your IPOD through the speakers without running down the battery. You can also use it to charge your battery. This has some good speakers - of course not great ones like surround sound, but I'm not looking for that. These speakers really suit my need so I can listen to my IPOD around the house and have something portable - both my IPOD and the speaker system. I think this is just the right price too.

"Great Product for a Great Price!", For just above $30 this product is amazing. It's sound quality is great and it comes with everything from a DC adapter to audio inputs. I would definetaly reccomend buying this product if you have an iPod or MP3 Player.

"Worked for two weeks", Sound was average for 2 weeks, not it cuts in and out, and goes from silent to deafening. Cheap product, not worth the price.

"Excellant I Pod player", It plays excellent and was EXACTLY as described in the description. Very easy to use and comes equipt with IPod slots for all different types of IPods. It also charges your IPod while in use. Highly recommended to use at work, home and small areas. I would not use for a big party - you might blow out the speakers. Overall, I give this product an A+ rating. I Love it.

"Good for my purposes", Let me start off by saying that I listen to audio books or talk programs on my ipod. This device is perfect for this. If I were to listen to music with it, it is less as good. If you are looking to listen to music trough it than spend more money on a better device.

"iPod speaker", The product worked as expected. Seems to be of excellent quality.
The sound is a little bit "tinny" but served the purpose for vacation entertainment.

"ipod docking station w/ speakers", Inexpensive docking station with speakers. Great for a small space. Easy way to recharge and still hear music.

"you get what you paid for ...total garbage.", I bought this as a gift for my 10 yr old son, since he wanted a docking station/speakers for his nano. I figured for $30, it was a steal. I guess you get what you pay for. When it was 1st hooked up the sound came out ok for like a minute or so. So we figured everything was fine. He unplugged and put it in his room. Sound was so distorted & garbled it was like scratching your nails against a blackboard. I tried my Ipod(30gb) same thing. My son was totally bummed out. Needless to say I sent it back on the 1st thing smoking to Amazon for a refund.
