"Too hard!!!!"
This game was hard!!!! Wii needs to improve before this game was published. It took forever to pass the first level and I was stuck on the third level. I think this game was made too hard. Actually, this game should have been made with Wi-Fi to play against other people around the world. Buy another game!
"Decent Game"
This is a decent game for anyone interested in the airborne battles of WWII. The controls are a little tricky to get used to but once you get the hang of it, it is addicting. The graphics are ok. I dont play it all that often but it's fun to pick up and play every once in a while.
"Fun Game"
I'm not a game junkie by any means, in fact, this is the first video game I have ever bought for myself. With that as background I find this game loads of fun, but frustrating at times. Not frustrating from the game controls etc. standpoint, but from my inability to get past the "protecting my wingman" scenario. My next purchase will be one of the jet fighter games.
"Blazing Angels"
Don't waste your money unless you are into frustration. In both the Training and regular missions, the enemy plane is always behind you and no matter how hard you try, you can't get behind them and you get shot down. They have a time limit for the dogfight of 3 minutes, if you get 1 out of 12 of the enemy planes you are lucky.

"Highly Enjoyable For Anyone Interested in WW2 Planes"
Growing up in England a short while after the WW2, I have always wanted to fly a Spitfire and a ME109, and this program allows you to without going to all the effort of learning a true flight simulator. Blazing Angles neatly deals with the period before the US entry into WW2 by following the story of an American volunteer in the RAF so that Dunkirk and the Battle of Britain can be included - before we all dash off to the Pacific, etc., etc.. The historical maps of the campaigns are well done and might well end up teaching kids more about the actual course of the war than they would get in their history lessons at school which seem to only cover domestic aspects of the World Wars.
Oh, and flying a Spitfire - even by proxy - is just as much fun as I thought it would be...

"BEST AIRPLANE GAME EVER!", This is as good as it gets for airplane flying. It takes through several missions during the WWII and for each level you complete you unlock an airplane.
"He loves it", Bought this for my beau (he LOVES flying games) and he played for hours. He said he had this game for another console and this version is far better. Great game for the price!
"a good flying shooter", The graphics are o.k and at times could better. The controls take some time to get use to. I crash on ever level due to the controls. Even through the controls are hard they are fun. I like shoot dowm planes.
"Defnitely more fun on Wii than on Xbox", I had the XBOX360 version.. and now the Wii version.
Instead of using a gamepad, the wii version is more fun.
But indeed, this is a tough game to play.
"Too Hard!", This is my first flight sim game and went through the training flight with little problem. Now I'm stuck in the "Dunkirk" mode and can't seem to get past getting rid of the German convoys etc. The game times out before I can complete the mission. :-(
The designers should have given you an easy or hard mode should a person could choose depending on their expertise. Also, I don't like having to restart a campaign if I don't complete the mission. Enemy targets are a bit hard to find until you do the campaign 2,3,4,5,time you get my thoughts.
Anyway it's fun and a bit addictive.

"Great Game, Great Value", This is a great game for a great value, there is not much more to be said. Others have gone into the game details, I am just throwing my support behind this amazing game. I just wish they would release the sequel on the Wii.
"good WWII game", This game is fun and it has alot of swearing. the controls are easy to learn but the steering is hard and you have to be up very close to destroy a target. This game is A good one for people that like taking out anger on things and have fun in war games.
"Great Game", This game is an awesome game. Good graphics, lots of missions, standalone missions. Multiplayer is great. You can do bombing runs, dog fights ace duels, up to 4 players Plenty of different ways to use controller, the best to me is wii remote only. a great flying game for hours of fun!
"Hours of fun", Great flying game. Overall the difficultly is moderate and the AI leaves a little wanting but, with the adaptive Wii games controls its sure a hell of a lot of fun
"Good fun, good graphics, average controls", I read some harsh reviews on the graphics, but I think they are great and realistic. I enjoyed the cut-scenes, too as they provided a good backstory o the mission. My only beef is that this would probably be better suited to a platform other than the wii - I found myself contorting and twisting to try to get my fighter to maneuver - sometimes I could "stand it on edge" and make a sharp turn, other times it wouldn't respond hardly at all and the Jerrys could easily out-turn me. For the price, a good, fun diversion.
