"Very fun, for the first couple of months!", The Sims 2 games are very fun! I love them all. On my computer, though, they run pretty slow. Maybe its just the computers (2) that I used.
The other bad thing about it would probably be the other stuff. I've bought all of the expansion packs, but after a couple of months, I got bored of the same old thing over and over. The Sims 2 is verrrrrrrrrrrrrry fun though, and is definetly worth it! Buy the Sims, expansions, etc, and you won't regret it!

"Totally addictive!", The Sims are awesome...if you dont mind spending hours upon hours in front of the computer screen ordering simulated people around. I have purchased several of the expansion packs as well....cant wait for more!!

"need to one thing", yes hi i need to now do i have to buy all the sims games to play the sims open for bussiness or just the sims holiday edition would be fine like they say i need the sim ,the sims2 special dvd edition to play the sims 2 holiday ed. what games do i really need to play?

"Great Value", The Sims 2 "holiday edition" is an excellent value, considering it's The Sims 2, plus a holiday expansion pack all for the same price (if not less than,) The Sims 2 alone.

Certainly a fun game. The game is fun, but doesn't have a lot of replay value for me, as there is only so much you can do without extra expansion packs. It's certainly fun and worth checking out, but can get a little old after a while.

"Sims 2 Holiday Edition", I would like to play this game. I have had trouble with the game installing. It starts up and then says to put in Disc 1. I hit ok and it tells me again to put Disc 1 in my dvd drive. I can't get the game to install. I am disappointed about this game. I was really looking forward to playing this game.

"Freakin Awesome", This game is seriously addicting. Make sure you set aside at least a few years for playing this game. Actually "3 years or more free time" should be in the system requirements.

"Not just for Christmas", Hey I got the Sims 2 Holiday Edition for my wife and I'm glad I did. First off the Holiday Stuff disk is totally separate so you can do whatever you want with it. It isn't just Christmas themed stuff either (though mostly). There is Halloween, Fourth of July, etc. If you don't own the Sims 2, you should get this one. It's like getting a free expansion disk right out of the box!!

"Loading", This is a great game. I only started playing last night and was up much later than I should have been. Getting up this morning to go to work was really difficult because all I could think about was what I was going to do in my little Sim world. I am a big fan of the original Sims and expansion packs. This one has so many more options it is going to take me quite some time to figure it all out. My only problem with this game is load time...some things take forever to load. I highly recommend this game. The Holiday stuff is fun. I am not sure if there would be more Holiday stuff to chose from if I paid extra for the Holiday stuff seperately. Someone told me that you might be able to get the missing stuff on the official Sims 2 web site. I will have to look into that.

"outstanding - and great bargain", What a fun game! It's everything from the fist Sims plus better graphics and more customization.

Also, why would anyone buy the "regular" edition for $35 when this is includes the whole game plus some holiday stuff for $20? I thought it was a mistake at first.

The only annoying thing was that the CD key is printed on the back page of the manual. The install procedure tells you to look on the CD case. That was really irritating until I figured it out.
