"Fun, fun music for girls!"
This is some good stuff for pre-teen girls. My daughter enjoys their lively sound, fun fashion, and be-true-to-yourself lyrics. Parents, this is a good choice if you like to steer away from heavy boy-boy-boy lyrics.

"Way too cool for 'High School'"
The Cheetah Girls is a Disney franchise. With selling over 2 million copies of the first soundtrack, The Cheetah Girls OST, they are back with the new sequel. The soundtrack is amazing. The Cheetah Girls 2 is a better soundtrack than High School Musical, but it is still a good soundtrack. You definitely need to buy it, RECOMMENDED FOR KIDS, AND EVEN ADULTS!!!!

"The album is GREAT"
I like this soundtrack, "The Cheetah Girls 2" because this time all the tracks on it are all either The Cheetah Girls singing the song, someone from the group which is Raven-Symone singing the song, or/and someone from the movies or a song from the movies is on it and not someone totlly different and didn't have anything to do with the movie. Also on the sountrack there are more songs. On the first "The Cheetah Girls" sundtrack there was only a little bit of songs on it and also there were people singing songs on it where they never showed the people singing it in the movie, only the song came on in the backround. Although I like both movies and soundtracks the same there is just some things that just stood out to me. Otherwise I still think anyone should be them both.

Listen to a bit of the songs (Amazon provides the previews). In the songs with morals in them, you can tell that they don't really mean what they're saying. In Do Your Own Thing, they sing in these flat voices that are just SCREAMING "None of these words are worth your life." In Amigas Cheetahs, they finally notice that and try to make their songs very emotional (and I'm pretty sure the songs were meant to be sung with heart), but they exaggerate it so much that it sounds like they are having a seizure.

A better band for kids would be The Naked Brothers Band (there's one girl in it, but it started out as all-boys). The 11-year-old keyboardist actually writes the songs himself, and they're all very meaningful and catchy.

"Great CD"
My 10 Year old niece loves this CD. She doesn't get to listen to it as much as she would like as her MP3 player broke and the next holiday is a ways away. Good choice for this age group.
